found this info for the heir apparent stuff we never got past

type in “Heir Apparent” in the Newsletter Section.

When you’re asked if you’re there, type in “yes” and press return.

if you’re asked for the password, type in “breaking strain” and press return again

whoa.. crazyness. On the bios page, click the date below Alvar Hanso's picture

i found this info

On the Hanso page, at the Active Projects link for WWPDP, click on “World Maps”. The map shows three dots showing ongoing project locations. However, if you put your cursor over the Bermuda Triangle, you will see another location pop up. At that point bring your cursor under the larger gray box to the left of the map. Hold the your mouse button down and you will see a faint message.
and took some SS.

If you go to the joop coner and send a message to joop.

send the numbers “4 8 15 16 23 42″ You then go to some island thing where you close the circles and then you get to view a document, if you click quick enough in the center when a red circle appears.

I'm so effing SHOCKED. I liked the finale but I'm like W00T?!

1. From what we saw, the hatch has blown up. But what happened to Charlie? He was there, or near it, when the whole "thing" happened. Are the three of them dead?

2. What about Sun, Kin and Sayid? It was night when the episode ended, and it was day last time we saw them. Maybe they find out that Sawyer/Kate/Jack are beeing taken and decide to try to rescue them.

3. The whole "electromagnetism" thing is interesting. Henry said the island couldn't be found. And this penny girl was trying to find something. The electromagnetic failure may POINT HER to where the island really is! I think those things are connected, but NO CLUE on why penny would be looking for the island, unless she knew desmond was there. And how would she know desmond was there?

4. Locke said that not pushing the button would "save us all". And I don't think the dreams he and eko had where about renewing Locke's faith in the button. "You gotta help John" that's what they said to Eko. They found the Pearl, and Locke stopped believing in the damn button. I think that's what the dreams were for...

5. Michael is not going to be a regular for next season, but he may reappear sometimes. I'm sure he will try to do something about the guys in the island... and this is where this Penny comes to play! We're finally getting some "outside-the-island" action.

6. Can't wait for next season! Or 24!!! !!!

HOLLY ****!!!, they captured them, do all the notebooks mean that the observers were an experiment too??

Exactly, Desmond said it, that the experiment was "backwards". The observers were the fake ones, the ones in the Swan were really saving the day, lol

how in the **** was the magnet strong enough to pull down a plane yet it was still somewhat barely pulling in all the other metal stuff....lame...

I don't think the magnet pulled down the plane, I think a "wave" screwed up the plane system and it ended up crashing there

haha, very nice find :) and thats where she's from! malcom in the middle... the one who wore sweaters to hide her boobs.. aww. she's all grown up now, and kinda hot.

I don't think Locke and Eko are dead, they can't be! The flashbacks never showed why Locke was paralized before the island... they can't just leave off like that, thus proving Locke is alive.

Desmond, he was under the hatch, i think he will make it out a live as well.

as for Eko, he might of taken the blast full force, but maybe not. i think all 3 of them are safe and fine..

Jack has something planned thats for sure. Michael can't leave on a bad note like that. He'll come back, save them all, along with Sayid and Jin, and everyone will forgive Michael for doing this.

Could Desmonds girlfriend be behind all of this Lost mystery stuff? maybe she's the one who wanted him to remain safe.. by placing him on this island.. and maybe she's the owner of Dharma?

==

Julius Caro, do you keep up with lost? because a lot of your questions were answered.

1) Charlie is alive, so not all 3 of them are dead. it didn't show any blast, it could of been were the electromagnet is only, and only damaged the hatch.

2) it wasn't night where they left off.. they found were the "others" were staying, put up the smoke, and noticed something is wrong, and jump back in the boat again. of cource they will find them.

3) you wrote "And how would she know desmond was there?" if you listened, she said "with enough money, you can find anything". she either paid someone to hunt him down, or paid someone to put him onto that island.. maybe Calvin?

1) With 3 I meant: Locke, Eko and Desmond.

2) When claire kisses charlie it's night in the island. The last time we see Sun Kin and Sayid is when the sky went all weird, it was day.

3) If she knew where Desmod is, why keep him here for more than 3 years? They're obviously in love after so many years. She doesn't know exactly where he is, but she's looking for it.

I was on the Hanso site and clicked on the RSS button. It didn't show up right so I looked at the source and it says "Board of Directors updated" with several names listed below. Looks like there's new info to be found on all of the directors bios'.

To access the info:

  • Alvar Hanso - Just click the date under the picture (like someone else here said). It shows the various locations Hanso has made public appearances. Claims his photo is actually of someone else and he hasn't been seen since 2002.
  • Doctor Thomas Mittlewerk - Type "Heir Apparent" in the text box. Shows some girl, but I can't tell who it is. Also questions whether he really is a doctor.
  • Hugh McIntyre - I'm sure it has to do with typing a password for the press release, but I can't figure it out.
  • Peter Thompson - There's a textbox under his photo. I just can't figure out the letters to type in there. Maybe somebody with some video skills can slow it down and figure it out?

Hopefully somebody can fill in the blanks. A least we have something to do while waiting for Season 3 to get here.

fyi, I don't think the magnet crap pulls any craft onto the island, I think it just messes with the instruments which makes the crafts (planes, boats) crash.

Another question is how could the computers survive such large magnetic fields?

Lastly, WHERE WAS THE SMOKE MONSTER!

This has probably been posted before, but what the hell.

Leading up to the third season there is going to be an ongoing "game", in which Lost-related details and mysteries will be revealed to the world (Hanso, etc.) An excellent website to keep up with the latest developments for this is thelostexperienceclues.blogspot.com. There are many others, but I've found this one to be current and full of good information.

I think that Penelope(Desmond's ex-girlfriend)'s father is the mastermind behind all of this. He's the leader of Hanso, the head of Dharma, and the one who set all of this in motion. Alvar Hanso is just an alias...perhaps Persephone has picked up on this?

Anyway, he was the one that originally "chose" Desmond for whatever the great grand experiment is. He made sure Desmond would get kicked out of the Army and get the idea in his head for the boat race. The course would take him directly to The Island.

The Russian guys in the snow hut at the end of the finale are employed by Penelope. She said that "with enough money and determination you can find anyone". Somehow she knew about the EM device/anomaly on The Island. I think that this device generated a constant EM field (and either it was broadcast in such a way as to not disrupt the computers or the computer/other electronics were shielded) that hid the island from all conventional sensors. Compass needles, GPS and other NAV systems couldn't make heads or tails of it. That's why when Desmond did his big screw up on September 22nd, Flight 815 happened(?) to be flying nearby and the elevated EM levels disrupted their equipment, bringing them down. Now, when Desmond inserted his key and activated the self-destruct sequence, the EM device overloaded, emitting a massive pulse of energy...big enough to be detected by Penelope and her Russian friends. This was the first time that we've seen the "Outside World". There is now proof that this is not some simulation on an alien spaceship, a colony of the last remaining humans on a nuclear-war-ravaged earth, or a big collective dream. It's real (in the context of the show).

Are the others employed by Penelope? Maybe they know about her and they work for her father, trying to keep the project a secret from the rest of the Losties? Where is their "home" if it isn't in those huts? What will happen to Sayid, Jin and Sun? Will Michael and Walt make it to the outside world? What will Hurley tell the rest of the Losties?

This is going to be a long summer.

Brilliant Finale, My thoughts below

Desmond was right, it is the other way around. The button pushers were not the experiment, the observers were the experiment.

Remember in the Perl Orientation video he says something like

'You do not need to know what they think they are doing by pushing the button'

Why would the people observing have information withheld from them?

And the notebooks the observers were filling out, maybe the notebooks were monitored and checked to see if the Button pushers were begining to lose faith (Like Locke). And if so they would be replaced?

Also was it me or did Kate blink at Jack like they had a plan? It seemed that way...

I think for some reason Michael will hide Walt, and come back for the losties, in order to redeem himsellf.

yes i deleted the spoilers from my quote...so sue me..its already aired....

but i highly doubt the notebooks were getting monitored...considering they were all just sitting there in a big ****ing pile...

and yes it looks like Jack & Kate have a plan and the look from Sawyer makes me think he wasn't told about it...

I suppose they were being monitored at some point

Wonder why observation was abandoned if the electromagnet is so powerful...

What if the person who was pushing the button died? Were they counting on planes to get sucked in lol

EDIT: I find the spoiler tags kind of silly...if you have'nt watched the episode, don't come in here! What do you get apart from spoilers if you have yet to watch the episode.

It'd make sense if the monitoring station was for the purpose of checking to see if the people entering numbers wern't going insane so the "device" didn't blow up but that leaves the new question (as always, more questions!) why was there a fake video in the pearl?

Even bigger question, Why did the tube go nowhere, If they was monitoring the button pushes for sanity then someone would need to be reading there notes.

There are a couple problems with the "reversed experiment" theory. For one thing, why the hell would Dharma entrust a human being to push the button every so often instead of having a machine do that automatically, and have people stationed there doing other things that also keep an eye on the machine and make sure it isn't broken? That would get rid of the entire "faith" problem with the button. The way all of this is devised is obviously on purpose and carefully calculated.

The Others did not seem very worried about what appeared to be a catastrophic EM emission obviously originating from The Island (they sureley know about the magnetic device and the failsafe mechanism). Everything happened so fast though, you can't really tell if they were just trying to get everything under control and get Michael out of there, or if they expected that to happen or it didn't surprise them.

Oh, another thing that was strange is how charlie was so absolutley fine. Three of his "friends" just died and he's like "hey babes, wack me a big fat one on the lips". He does behave strange but thats something even a strange person would take heavier than that. So, isn't it likely that no one died?

Although, why wouldn't he explain that... also...?!!!

We do not know what happened to Eko, Locke or Desmond as they never showed them after the electromagnetic emmission. They could be fine, or dead, we also do not know what happened to the hatch, charlie probably just ran away when the blast came and seeing the crazy light thought nothing happened to the hatch. another theory is everyone in the hatch is fine and charlie just came out to see whats going on with the people on the beach.

also i just realized why desmond sailed west for days but never got where he wanted to go. if the island has a giant magnet his compas would not work correctly :p

Wouldnt that mean michales wont work?

I also have an uneasy feeling about the general reception to the upcoming season. Some responses to the finale began to remind me of the Matrix trilogy.

The first Matrix movie was pretty widely acclaimed as a sci-fi gem. Each successive sequel was received with less positive praise than the previous film. While some say "they just sucked", I think it was more than that. When you watch the Matrix, it's the beginning to a story. The options are endless as to where the story could go. The fan's mind is going to map out all these possibilities and find the ones that he likes. When the sequels came out and the story actually chose one path, it inevitably alienated many fans. No matter what path the story took, fans wouldn't have been pleased. Particular fans may have, if the chosen storyline meshed with their own desires, but as a group, fandom would have been disappointed.

I think the same might happen with Lost. With the inhernet open endedness of the series, rumors and theories fly across the internet lightning fast. Just look at the number of websites dedicated to trying to figure out what's going on. The problem here is, people are picking the theories they like and hope that they are correct. When the series does start to take a direction, as it did with the season finale, only a minute few probably came even close to guessing what would happen, and I doubt anyone was remotely correct on all counts. Thi si sgoing to cause people to dislike where the show is going, not because it's a bad story, but because it's not their story.

Me, I'm not trying too hard to figure it out, and I'll judge the show based on its own merits, not whether the answers are the ones i want or not. I just hope others do the same.

Thats an excellent post! (Y)

i think im missing something here.

hanso foundation is a real foundations right? since it advertises it self on ABC during the LOST ad break.

and from previous post there seems have some connections between hanso foundation & LOST am i on the right point?

    • Ooooh! Two editorial from Paul Hill on the same day! Is it my birthday or something? 😉 Okay, let's see if I get it right. SearXNG develops a meta-search engine app. Individuals install it on their relays. Users connect to these relays to have their own identity-stripping meta-search engine instead of relying on DuckDuckGo. And some of these volunteers have listed their SearXNG instances on SearX.space. That was a lot of wrap my head around. I hope I haven't missed anything.
    • You sound like some Ukrainians in Crimea before 2014: "I didn't vote for USSR disbanding - I want Ukraine to be part of Russia again" 🤣
    • Uninstalr 3.1 by Razvan Serea Introducing Uninstalr: Easy to use and very accurate software uninstaller for Windows. It can uninstall multiple apps at the same time and we think it’s pretty cool. Developed with expertise by Macecraft Software - the minds behind jv16 PowerTools. Key Features Batch uninstall many apps at the same time. Supports unattended uninstallation of apps. Supports monitoring of new software installations. Also detects portable apps and previously uninstalled software leftovers. Shows all the data added to your system by installed software on a file by file basis. Shows all the data it will remove before starting the uninstallation. Filter and search the list of installed software. According to our benchmark, Uninstalr is the most accurate software uninstaller by leaving the least amount of leftovers when uninstalling apps. Supports detection and uninstallation of Microsoft Store, Steam, Big Fish Game System, Chocolatey, NuGet and Ninite installed software. Supports Windows Dark Mode. Supports Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7. Comes with these translations builtin: Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Czech, Danish, English, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. Has a single executable file portable version and a normal setup version. Uninstalr is freeware, lightweight and easy to use. No bells and whistles, no nonsense. Uninstalr’s custom uninstallation engine has a dedicated support for the detection and uninstallation of 15 types of apps: Normal Windows apps Microsoft Store apps Portable apps Chocolatey apps Ninite apps PortableApps.com apps Steam games EA App games Epic Games Store games Riot platform games GOG Galaxy games WarGaming.net games Battle.net games itch.io games Big Fish platform games Uninstalr 3.1 changelog: Key Changes Uninstalr now starts and shows the list of installed apps faster after the initial scan has been completed, and with much smaller memory usage. Uninstalr now detects and highlights apps that automatically start with Windows. Greatly improved the detection of portable apps. Improvements New feature: Uninstalr now detects and highlights apps that automatically start with Windows. New feature: Uninstalr now highlights possible leftovers and apps from Russia and China. This can be disabled from the Settings. New feature: A new filter that allows you to show only software that is installed to other than the system drive. New feature: Users can now select to always do the deepest and the most accurate scan for installed apps, at the cost of the analysis taking a longer time. Greatly improved the detection of portable apps, such as added dedicated support for MiTeC, EZ Tools and SysInternals tools. Improved support for portable apps installed via Windows System Control Center (WSCC). NirSoft portable apps are now listed with "NirSoft" prefix for easier identification. Improved the speed of uninstalling apps. The main installed software listing search will now find "Xbox GameBar" if you search for "Game bar" and vice versa. The tooltip now displays more detailed information of the installed apps, such as its registry key and uninstaller path. The links in the About section now look more like clickable links. The main menu is now more clearly indicated in the main user interface. Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office ships with some Windows 11 installations and is now considered a builtin Windows app and only listed if builtin Windows apps filter is enabled. Added a Help button to the main user interface that opens the help section of the website. Added an option not to close Uninstalr after uninstallation. If you open the Uninstalr website from the app, the website now receives the version number of your current Uninstalr version and warns you if you are using anything but the latest version. Improved the accuracy of the New Software Monitor. Improved confirmation messages for Steam and other platform related uninstalls. Improved the uninstallation performance of Steam games. Fixes: Known bug fixed: Some installed app names are capitalized incorrectly, such as "CCleaner Portable" is listed as "ccleaner portable". Known bug fixed: Some apps can be listed twice, for example, Smart Defrag can be listed once as Smart Defrag and then Smart Defrag Home. Known bug fixed: On the pre-uninstallation screen, the Scripts checkbox can be checked by default on Dark Mode but not on the normal mode. Known bug fixed: Perform Deep Analysis can be started only by clicking the button, not via the Right Click menu, main menu or F4 keyboard shortcut. Muse Hub could be incorrectly listed as Adobe Muse. SyncTrayzor was incorrectly detected as two unrelated software, SyncTrayzor and Syncthing. Smart Defrag was incorrectly listed twice as Smart Defrag 11 and Smart Defrag Home. It was possible to enter non-printable characters to the search input boxes of the main screen, and the path listing screen, which caused the UI to look funny. Changing the translation from Settings, especially many times in a row, caused the UI to distort. If you had multiple instances of portable apps on your system, such as the 64b and 32b versions of the same portable app, typically only one of them was detected, not both. In some very rare cases, Uninstalr UI could start with random characters in its search input boxes, which could make the UI look rather confusing. This was a rare issue, only reported by two users. The pre-uninstallation screen could display non-existing paths for example as the software's installation directory or main exe file. This was a cosmetic issue. New Software Monitor cannot detect the installation of Claude. Selecting all the found software made the UI look funny with the top panel covering everything else (because the names of all the selected software were listed there). Sometimes a Steam game could be listed a normal app instead of a Steam game. If the system restart after an uninstallation is delayed, e.g. because of Windows Updates being installed, this additional delay is incorrectly added to the time how long the uninstallation process took. This cosmetic bug could cause the program incorrectly report an uninstallation time longer than the actual uninstallation time. Uninstalling Minecraft could simply fail. The Only scan the system drive for installed apps setting does not fully work. If some apps are installed to a non system drive and this setting is enabled, the app could still be detected and listed on the main user interface. Changing any settings could also incorrectly alter the Only Scan The System Drive For Installed Apps setting. Microsoft OneDrive and Copilot are not always detected. If you enter something to the search filter field, then select the text and press the Delete key, this triggers the Uninstall button click even if your intent was to delete the text input. If you press the F5 key to refresh the screen during the uninstallation loading screen, the program will crash. If you enabled some setting, such as "Do not analyze installed app installation sizes", it could automatically be unchecked later. Uninstalr doesn't warn you if you try to remove Fortec antivirus. There should be a warning if user attempts to remove any antivirus or antimalware type program. Such programs should not be uninstalled using a third party uninstaller, as they are typically protected against automated uninstallation, for security reasons. With "Do not analyze installed app installation sizes" option checked from the Settings, Uninstalr could still display some installation size related elements in the UI which was confusing. The "Only scan the system drive" option moved under Improve Scan Speed from the General settings. If two software have the exact same name and version number, selecting both of them for uninstallation fails because only one is actually selected. Sorting the installed apps by size sometimes fails and the order is incorrect. The "Don't show which paths are currently analyzed" did not work correctly - some parts of the UI still show the currently analyzed path with this setting checked. The "Don't list software less than 10 MB" filter did not work correctly - some apps smaller than 10 MB could still be listed. Uninstalr could start very quickly and display an empty list of detected apps. Restarting the app usually fixed the issue and the list of installed apps was properly displayed. If you placed portable Uninstalr to a same folder with other portable apps, those were not detected because Uninstalr automatically added its installation folder to the ignore list. When trying to uninstall some specific software, Uninstalr could get stuck on the Searching for more data relating to the app phase. Uninstalr could sometimes do a silent uninstallation even if user had unchecked the Perform a silent uninstallation option. Known issues: Uninstalr can fail to run with an Out Of Memory error in systems that have a lot of installed apps. Using the New Software Monitor tool multiple times during one session can cause the program to get stuck on the Scanning stage. The "uninstallation completed" message box sometimes closes when the user moves the mouse cursor over the button before user clicks it. There is no feedback for the user after Fix Information feature has been used. The Right Click menu's Select by publisher option can display the number of apps per each publisher without correct vertical alignment. The default user interface might not display all of the found installed apps if you have over 600 installed apps. If you do, using the Screen Reader Compatible Interface solves the issue. Leftover apptype filter checkbox is shown in red font only in Dark Mode. Clicking the app's icon from the Windows Taskbar doesn't minimize/restore the app like other apps. The warning about an app that user wishes to uninstall being related to some other app user did not select can sometimes be inaccurate. If app's language is changed without restarting Uninstalr, the list of installed software might not automatically refresh. When software is being uninstalled, the UI can say it is processing paths unrelating to the uninstalled app. This is purely cosmetic and does not mean these paths are removed. Uninstalr might not properly detect and/or uninstall Steam games if they are installed to a drive different than Steam's default location in C:\. You might see "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed" error message from Windows Installer during uninstallation. This is a cosmetic issue. • I and many others did not vote to get out of the E.u because of Putin or Farage, we did so for our own reasons. You don't have to tel me what my own did or did not do when it comes to the E.U. The EEC is or was the European Economic Community, a different beast to what the E.U is now.The EEC was a mainly about trading, the E.U have gone far beyond that and as I have said before, is now more of a United States of Europe. The U.K did not vote to join a United States of Europe. Anyway, they did not want us in there in the first place, Charles de Gaulle stopped us joining as he claimed we didn’t agree with the core ideas of integration. He was not wrong and that is why we voted out of the E.U when the time came. I was not old enough to vote the first time. My only regret is that we did not have the referendum years ago and got out years ago. If we rejoined, we would have to agree to join the Euro and no doubt Schengen, agree with freedom of movement, we have enough problem with people coming over here as it is. i have no problem with people coming over here if they work and don't try to push their way of life onto us. The E.U has a currency, freedom of movement, an anthem a flag, a parliament, well they are there, not sure if they do anything. Don't sound like something that is just for trading. Oh yeah, also wanted a euro Army. How many stupid rules have the E.U made that we had to follow? I doubt I will see the Uk rejoin the E.U, which suits me. Oh yeah, my partner is Polish, she came over here before Poland joined the E.U and she got fed up of people just coming over here with ease, while she had to struggle. She is now a British citizen and have been for a fair few years
    • Hello, Paul. Thanks for the editorial. It was interesting. I'm going research more into the app and its concept. Of course, if you know me at all, you know that I'd say your articles needs some editing! I always do, don't I? For instance, the article occasionally mentions relays before defining it.
