found this info for the heir apparent stuff we never got past

type in “Heir Apparent” in the Newsletter Section.

When you’re asked if you’re there, type in “yes” and press return.

if you’re asked for the password, type in “breaking strain” and press return again

whoa.. crazyness. On the bios page, click the date below Alvar Hanso's picture

i found this info

On the Hanso page, at the Active Projects link for WWPDP, click on “World Maps”. The map shows three dots showing ongoing project locations. However, if you put your cursor over the Bermuda Triangle, you will see another location pop up. At that point bring your cursor under the larger gray box to the left of the map. Hold the your mouse button down and you will see a faint message.
and took some SS.

If you go to the joop coner and send a message to joop.

send the numbers “4 8 15 16 23 42″ You then go to some island thing where you close the circles and then you get to view a document, if you click quick enough in the center when a red circle appears.

I'm so effing SHOCKED. I liked the finale but I'm like W00T?!

1. From what we saw, the hatch has blown up. But what happened to Charlie? He was there, or near it, when the whole "thing" happened. Are the three of them dead?

2. What about Sun, Kin and Sayid? It was night when the episode ended, and it was day last time we saw them. Maybe they find out that Sawyer/Kate/Jack are beeing taken and decide to try to rescue them.

3. The whole "electromagnetism" thing is interesting. Henry said the island couldn't be found. And this penny girl was trying to find something. The electromagnetic failure may POINT HER to where the island really is! I think those things are connected, but NO CLUE on why penny would be looking for the island, unless she knew desmond was there. And how would she know desmond was there?

4. Locke said that not pushing the button would "save us all". And I don't think the dreams he and eko had where about renewing Locke's faith in the button. "You gotta help John" that's what they said to Eko. They found the Pearl, and Locke stopped believing in the damn button. I think that's what the dreams were for...

5. Michael is not going to be a regular for next season, but he may reappear sometimes. I'm sure he will try to do something about the guys in the island... and this is where this Penny comes to play! We're finally getting some "outside-the-island" action.

6. Can't wait for next season! Or 24!!! !!!

HOLLY ****!!!, they captured them, do all the notebooks mean that the observers were an experiment too??

Exactly, Desmond said it, that the experiment was "backwards". The observers were the fake ones, the ones in the Swan were really saving the day, lol

how in the **** was the magnet strong enough to pull down a plane yet it was still somewhat barely pulling in all the other metal stuff....lame...

I don't think the magnet pulled down the plane, I think a "wave" screwed up the plane system and it ended up crashing there

haha, very nice find :) and thats where she's from! malcom in the middle... the one who wore sweaters to hide her boobs.. aww. she's all grown up now, and kinda hot.

I don't think Locke and Eko are dead, they can't be! The flashbacks never showed why Locke was paralized before the island... they can't just leave off like that, thus proving Locke is alive.

Desmond, he was under the hatch, i think he will make it out a live as well.

as for Eko, he might of taken the blast full force, but maybe not. i think all 3 of them are safe and fine..

Jack has something planned thats for sure. Michael can't leave on a bad note like that. He'll come back, save them all, along with Sayid and Jin, and everyone will forgive Michael for doing this.

Could Desmonds girlfriend be behind all of this Lost mystery stuff? maybe she's the one who wanted him to remain safe.. by placing him on this island.. and maybe she's the owner of Dharma?

==

Julius Caro, do you keep up with lost? because a lot of your questions were answered.

1) Charlie is alive, so not all 3 of them are dead. it didn't show any blast, it could of been were the electromagnet is only, and only damaged the hatch.

2) it wasn't night where they left off.. they found were the "others" were staying, put up the smoke, and noticed something is wrong, and jump back in the boat again. of cource they will find them.

3) you wrote "And how would she know desmond was there?" if you listened, she said "with enough money, you can find anything". she either paid someone to hunt him down, or paid someone to put him onto that island.. maybe Calvin?

1) With 3 I meant: Locke, Eko and Desmond.

2) When claire kisses charlie it's night in the island. The last time we see Sun Kin and Sayid is when the sky went all weird, it was day.

3) If she knew where Desmod is, why keep him here for more than 3 years? They're obviously in love after so many years. She doesn't know exactly where he is, but she's looking for it.

I was on the Hanso site and clicked on the RSS button. It didn't show up right so I looked at the source and it says "Board of Directors updated" with several names listed below. Looks like there's new info to be found on all of the directors bios'.

To access the info:

  • Alvar Hanso - Just click the date under the picture (like someone else here said). It shows the various locations Hanso has made public appearances. Claims his photo is actually of someone else and he hasn't been seen since 2002.
  • Doctor Thomas Mittlewerk - Type "Heir Apparent" in the text box. Shows some girl, but I can't tell who it is. Also questions whether he really is a doctor.
  • Hugh McIntyre - I'm sure it has to do with typing a password for the press release, but I can't figure it out.
  • Peter Thompson - There's a textbox under his photo. I just can't figure out the letters to type in there. Maybe somebody with some video skills can slow it down and figure it out?

Hopefully somebody can fill in the blanks. A least we have something to do while waiting for Season 3 to get here.

fyi, I don't think the magnet crap pulls any craft onto the island, I think it just messes with the instruments which makes the crafts (planes, boats) crash.

Another question is how could the computers survive such large magnetic fields?

Lastly, WHERE WAS THE SMOKE MONSTER!

This has probably been posted before, but what the hell.

Leading up to the third season there is going to be an ongoing "game", in which Lost-related details and mysteries will be revealed to the world (Hanso, etc.) An excellent website to keep up with the latest developments for this is thelostexperienceclues.blogspot.com. There are many others, but I've found this one to be current and full of good information.

I think that Penelope(Desmond's ex-girlfriend)'s father is the mastermind behind all of this. He's the leader of Hanso, the head of Dharma, and the one who set all of this in motion. Alvar Hanso is just an alias...perhaps Persephone has picked up on this?

Anyway, he was the one that originally "chose" Desmond for whatever the great grand experiment is. He made sure Desmond would get kicked out of the Army and get the idea in his head for the boat race. The course would take him directly to The Island.

The Russian guys in the snow hut at the end of the finale are employed by Penelope. She said that "with enough money and determination you can find anyone". Somehow she knew about the EM device/anomaly on The Island. I think that this device generated a constant EM field (and either it was broadcast in such a way as to not disrupt the computers or the computer/other electronics were shielded) that hid the island from all conventional sensors. Compass needles, GPS and other NAV systems couldn't make heads or tails of it. That's why when Desmond did his big screw up on September 22nd, Flight 815 happened(?) to be flying nearby and the elevated EM levels disrupted their equipment, bringing them down. Now, when Desmond inserted his key and activated the self-destruct sequence, the EM device overloaded, emitting a massive pulse of energy...big enough to be detected by Penelope and her Russian friends. This was the first time that we've seen the "Outside World". There is now proof that this is not some simulation on an alien spaceship, a colony of the last remaining humans on a nuclear-war-ravaged earth, or a big collective dream. It's real (in the context of the show).

Are the others employed by Penelope? Maybe they know about her and they work for her father, trying to keep the project a secret from the rest of the Losties? Where is their "home" if it isn't in those huts? What will happen to Sayid, Jin and Sun? Will Michael and Walt make it to the outside world? What will Hurley tell the rest of the Losties?

This is going to be a long summer.

Brilliant Finale, My thoughts below

Desmond was right, it is the other way around. The button pushers were not the experiment, the observers were the experiment.

Remember in the Perl Orientation video he says something like

'You do not need to know what they think they are doing by pushing the button'

Why would the people observing have information withheld from them?

And the notebooks the observers were filling out, maybe the notebooks were monitored and checked to see if the Button pushers were begining to lose faith (Like Locke). And if so they would be replaced?

Also was it me or did Kate blink at Jack like they had a plan? It seemed that way...

I think for some reason Michael will hide Walt, and come back for the losties, in order to redeem himsellf.

yes i deleted the spoilers from my quote...so sue me..its already aired....

but i highly doubt the notebooks were getting monitored...considering they were all just sitting there in a big ****ing pile...

and yes it looks like Jack & Kate have a plan and the look from Sawyer makes me think he wasn't told about it...

I suppose they were being monitored at some point

Wonder why observation was abandoned if the electromagnet is so powerful...

What if the person who was pushing the button died? Were they counting on planes to get sucked in lol

EDIT: I find the spoiler tags kind of silly...if you have'nt watched the episode, don't come in here! What do you get apart from spoilers if you have yet to watch the episode.

It'd make sense if the monitoring station was for the purpose of checking to see if the people entering numbers wern't going insane so the "device" didn't blow up but that leaves the new question (as always, more questions!) why was there a fake video in the pearl?

Even bigger question, Why did the tube go nowhere, If they was monitoring the button pushes for sanity then someone would need to be reading there notes.

There are a couple problems with the "reversed experiment" theory. For one thing, why the hell would Dharma entrust a human being to push the button every so often instead of having a machine do that automatically, and have people stationed there doing other things that also keep an eye on the machine and make sure it isn't broken? That would get rid of the entire "faith" problem with the button. The way all of this is devised is obviously on purpose and carefully calculated.

The Others did not seem very worried about what appeared to be a catastrophic EM emission obviously originating from The Island (they sureley know about the magnetic device and the failsafe mechanism). Everything happened so fast though, you can't really tell if they were just trying to get everything under control and get Michael out of there, or if they expected that to happen or it didn't surprise them.

Oh, another thing that was strange is how charlie was so absolutley fine. Three of his "friends" just died and he's like "hey babes, wack me a big fat one on the lips". He does behave strange but thats something even a strange person would take heavier than that. So, isn't it likely that no one died?

Although, why wouldn't he explain that... also...?!!!

We do not know what happened to Eko, Locke or Desmond as they never showed them after the electromagnetic emmission. They could be fine, or dead, we also do not know what happened to the hatch, charlie probably just ran away when the blast came and seeing the crazy light thought nothing happened to the hatch. another theory is everyone in the hatch is fine and charlie just came out to see whats going on with the people on the beach.

also i just realized why desmond sailed west for days but never got where he wanted to go. if the island has a giant magnet his compas would not work correctly :p

Wouldnt that mean michales wont work?

I also have an uneasy feeling about the general reception to the upcoming season. Some responses to the finale began to remind me of the Matrix trilogy.

The first Matrix movie was pretty widely acclaimed as a sci-fi gem. Each successive sequel was received with less positive praise than the previous film. While some say "they just sucked", I think it was more than that. When you watch the Matrix, it's the beginning to a story. The options are endless as to where the story could go. The fan's mind is going to map out all these possibilities and find the ones that he likes. When the sequels came out and the story actually chose one path, it inevitably alienated many fans. No matter what path the story took, fans wouldn't have been pleased. Particular fans may have, if the chosen storyline meshed with their own desires, but as a group, fandom would have been disappointed.

I think the same might happen with Lost. With the inhernet open endedness of the series, rumors and theories fly across the internet lightning fast. Just look at the number of websites dedicated to trying to figure out what's going on. The problem here is, people are picking the theories they like and hope that they are correct. When the series does start to take a direction, as it did with the season finale, only a minute few probably came even close to guessing what would happen, and I doubt anyone was remotely correct on all counts. Thi si sgoing to cause people to dislike where the show is going, not because it's a bad story, but because it's not their story.

Me, I'm not trying too hard to figure it out, and I'll judge the show based on its own merits, not whether the answers are the ones i want or not. I just hope others do the same.

Thats an excellent post! (Y)

i think im missing something here.

hanso foundation is a real foundations right? since it advertises it self on ABC during the LOST ad break.

and from previous post there seems have some connections between hanso foundation & LOST am i on the right point?

    • Compared to the 7735HS it is around 25-30% slower in multi-threaded tasks (according to Google search) I did a review of the 7735HS Beelink SER6 Max in 2023, but thinking about it, it's not comparable to the 7730U. For the example you gave about how it will be used, the 7730U is actually an excellent choice for its power and battery efficiency.
    • Yes guys I know we have a memory and storage price gouging thanks to AI datacenters, so basically you are complaining when these crazy prices get discounts. It all starts to sound like the price of gas and a loaf of bread "was so much cheaper ten years ago!" Go wait until 2030 or whenever this BS ends and skip commenting then? Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't... 🙄
    • 7 Days: Windows 11 turns five, Ford made a mistake, and Starlink plans direct mobile service by Aditya Tiwari 7 Days is a weekly roundup of picks of what's been happening in the world of technology - written with a dash of humor, a hint of exasperation, and an endless supply of (black) coffee. This week's highlights include Apple's $4 billion class-action lawsuit, a smartphone with a 14,000 mAh battery, Google catching up with Anthropic, and the Steam Summer Sale 2026. Let's get started. You can check out the recent issues of the 7 Days weekly roundup. Windows 11 turns five Microsoft's Windows 11 operating system completed five years of existence on June 24 this week. According to the latest data, the controversial operating system now runs on almost 72% of Windows PCs worldwide. The launch of Windows 11 had several dramatic twists and an entire preview build leaked ahead of launch. Ford made a mistake Many would agree that one of the biggest mistakes the automobile industry made was surrendering to the giant touchscreens and removing physical buttons. However, Ford made even more. The company executives said they made a mistake by replacing human engineers with AI. Ford admitted that AI couldn't replace experienced engineers and the company is rehiring veterans to improve quality and cut recall costs. Starlink mobile service Elon Musk's SpaceX wants to use its massive constellation of satellites to power your phone's network. The company is reportedly considering building a terrestrial mobile network to complement Starlink’s satellite coverage and planning to sell mobile phone plans directly to customers in the US as part of a wider expansion of Starlink. Livepatch allows users to apply important kernel updates without any service interruption or rebooting. AMD 26.6.2 driver: The new driver version for Radeon hardware owners brought FSR 4.1 upscaling tech to an entire generation of its products: the RX 7000 series. However, the 26.6.2 FSR driver flew dark clouds over users, breaking many Windows PCs and causing a yellow bang or other launch failures on Windows 10. AMD later pushed the 26.6.3 Hotfix update to fix the issues. Goodbye Notion email: It's been a little over a year since the AI-powered email client launched. The company has announced its shutdown, which will take effect on September 22, and said it doesn't see the point in maintaining a frontend email client when people are moving towards automation. Ventoy version 1.1.14: The biggest change in the Rufus alternative is an updated Secure Boot shim file to resolve the UEFI CA 2023 issue, a compatibility problem that affected Secure Boot environments on some systems. This week in hardware news Image: Valve Catch up on some of the latest software news updates that arrived throughout the week: 14,000 mAh battery: Yes, that's something that iPhone users can only dream of. But a Chinese company is reportedly developing a smartphone with a 14,000mAh battery. If it ever sees daylight, it would be the largest battery ever on a smartphone, possibly offering a week of backup on a single charge. Steam Machine prices: Valve finally confirmed the Steam Machine's pricing. Starting at $1,049 for the 512GB option, storage and the included controller are the biggest differences among the four variants presented. Xbox just got more expensive: Rising costs of storage and memory prompted Microsoft to raise prices. Xbox Series X|S models wth 512GB storage will cost $100 extra, and 1TB models will cost $150 extra. However, the Redmond giant discounted the 2TB models. New NVIDIA supercomputers: The company announced plans to deploy 35 high-performance (HPC) AI supercomputers across Europe this year, primarily at national supercomputer centers, AI factories, and research institutes. Fast fast memory: Samsung built the UFS 5.0 storage solution, which pushes the data transfer speeds to 10.8 GB/s on mobile devices. It scored 85.6% on CyberGym, compared with 81.8% for GPT-5.5 and 83.8% for Claude Mythos 5. The AI giant also announced a limited preview of its new GPT-5.6 model series, whose flagship model, GPT-5.6 Sol, is targeted at demanding reasoning and agentic workloads. Proceed with caution: The Trump administration instructed OpenAI to limit the distribution of GPT-5.6 to a small group of government-approved partners rather than the general public, as has happened in the past. Claude Tag: Anthropic launched its new AI teammate for Slack, enabling teams to delegate tasks to Claude directly within Slack channels. What makes it different is that it's designed to operate as a shared assistant for an entire team rather than a single user. Challenging US dominance: The UK government has funded £60 million ($70 million) to Oxford and UCL to keep the country in the AI race by building open-source, low-hardware alternatives. The two organizations will share the money over six years. Paying for AI development: One cost is the loss of human jobs. Oracle laid off about 21,000 employees (13% of its workforce) amid increasing AI adoption. The software giant said that AI advancement and adoption "may continue to result in reductions to our workforce." GitHub strips features: It removed the ability to manually detect an AI model from its Copilot Free and Student plans. In other words, its automatic routing system is the only way to choose a model. Are you a copycat? Anthropic accused Alibaba of creating about 25,000 fraudulent accounts to copy Claude's capabilities at scale. It told US lawmakers that operators linked to Alibaba generated 28.8 million exchanges with Claude between April 22 and June 5, 2026. Reserve my memory: The semiconductor company Micron revealed that AI companies are spending billions to lock up its memory years in advance. Its customers have locked in $22 billion worth of memory supply commitments. Another AI battle: A publisher group that collectively owns 400 newspapers sued OpenAI and Microsoft for scraping their content to build AI chatbots such as ChatGPT and Copilot without compensation. Anthropic AI ban: The US government partially reversed the Anthropic AI ban, allowing it to restore Claude Mythos 5. However, it can only be deployed for a limited set of US organizations that operate and defend critical infrastructure. This week in Microsoft News In some of the hottest stories of the week: Windows 10 quietly gained a year of support and updates, Windows 11 KB5095093 released with a long list of features, and Windows 11 26H2 is finally getting the ability to disable web search results in Windows 11 Search. You can check out Taras's freshly baked Microsoft Weekly roundup to catch up on all the interesting stories this week. This week in science news Image by Pascal Küffer via Pexels Catch up on some of the latest science and out-of-this-world updates that arrived throughout the week: 13 billion-year-old secret: Scientists found that the universe's first molecule (helium hyride) reacted with hydrogen much faster in cold temperatures than previously believed. It's a new breakthrough that changes our understanding of early star formation. Cosmic Living Fossil: Astronomers found CR3, a surprisingly pristine 11.5-billion-year-old galaxy dubbed a "living fossil." It suggests the universe's first generation of stars formed much later than previously assumed. Einstein's 100-year-old theory: Thanks to relativity, researchers calculated that clocks on Mars tick 477 microseconds faster per day than on Earth. This minute gravitational difference is crucial for synchronizing future interplanetary space missions. Don't panic: NASA's James Webb Telescope finally eliminated the threat of asteroid 2024 YR4 striking the moon in 2032. The rocky giant will give us a safe fly-by without causing any harm. This week in gaming? The latest issue of Pulasthi's Weekend PC Game Deals curates several exciting games on sale this week. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition and Voidwrought have replaced the old titles in this week's Epic Games Store giveaway. For Xbox Free Play Days, the new titles include House Flipper 2, Blades of Fire, and Assetto Corsa Competizione. Steam Summer Sale 2026 kicked off with discounts for everything from the newest games and retro gems to all sorts of DLC packs, until July 9. Meanwhile, NVIDIA GeForce NOW added support for several new titles, including Dark Scrolls, SAND: Raiders of Sophie, and EMPULSE. That said, here are some more stories from the gaming world: Age of Empires Mobile comes to PC, here's how to carry over progress from your phone Xbox Insiders get Xbox 360 achievements and Gamertag character upgrades Grand Theft Auto VI pricing revealed alongside Ultimate Edition and pre-loading details Sony announces Bungie layoffs that will affect "significant number of employees" From the review corner This week, Steven published a review of the TerraMaster F4-425 Pro AI-powered NAS, featuring an all-metal exterior on the lines of the four-bay F4-425 series. Powered by the octa-core Intel Core N350, the TerraMaster F4-425 Pro is highly energy-efficient, operates quietly, and offers three M.2 slots. On the flip side, OpenClaw support requires removing security hardening (SPC), AI requires a paid subscription, the software feels like a beta, and the rubber feet constantly come unstuck. ZimaBoard 2 1664 Starter Kit Another NAS setup reviewed this week is the ZimaBoard 2 by IceWhale Technology. It comes in a small footprint with great modern hardware through a combo of Intel N150 and DDR5 memory support. On the downside, the memory is not upgradeable, ZimaOS is a bit barebones, factory reset requires USB flashing, and there is no automatic backup via the mobile app. Synology's BeeCamera software Christopher wrote his review of the software that powers BeeCamera Plus and said "the BeeCamera app is a great way to add private home monitoring to your network but there are some limitations." It's free with an easy setup process, fast response time, and good AI and detection features. However, there is no desktop version; it only works with Synology cameras, some configurations are difficult to set up on a phone, and it lacks the features of the surveillance station. • Zen Browser 1.21.4b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. Vertical Tabs: Manage tabs vertically. Container Tabs: Separate browsing sessions. Fast Profile Switcher: Switch between profiles easily. Tab Folders: Organize tabs into folders. Customizable UI: Personalize browser interface. Security Features: Inherits Firefox’s robust security. Fast Performance: Lightweight and optimized for speed. Zen Mods Customization: Deep customization with mods. Quick Access: Easy access to favorite websites. Open Source: Built on Mozilla Firefox with community collaboration. Community-Driven: Active development and feedback from users. GitHub Repository: Contribute and review the source code. Zen Browser 1.21.4b changelog: New Features Updated to Firefox 152.0.2 and 152.0.3 Added 'Edit pinned tab' context menu item to manually set a pinned tab's URL Added 'Add Route for Domain' context menu item to quickly add a tab's domain to the Space Routing settings Fixes Prevent sidebar from flickering when moving a tab (#14131) Full-screening while on a glance tab will now expand the glance tab to a normal tab (#11766) Fixed space routing tabs opening in background when it should be in foreground (#14183) Other minor bug fixes and improvements.
