i have a feeling the others are going to pwn

no way, michael said theres "very few" of them.. they can take them :D but something shocking is going to happen at the end of this season.. should be amazing!!

Definitely sounds like a trap. How much are you willing to bet that they knew Michael was watching them the entire time and on purpose made it look like they are not heavily armed?

That's possible... I like that theory. I think there's more to it than that, but something like that is up though

Does anyone know the name of the song at the end of this episode?

I don't care to get into all the "theories", we'll find out exactly what everything is about sooner or later (God willing the writers don't make it like X-Files). But I do have to say I thought the Rose/Bernard story was cool (even though minor), I think the best part is how it ties into Locke and the fact that someone else DOES know that Locke was paralyzed.

Perfect opportunity for an ambush if you ask me. Of course, that is too obvious for it to happen...this is lost afterall.

Yeah, everyone else who knew Locke was paralyzed seems to be dead.

Interesting that Henry knows about Walt and that he knows they won't trade for him. He had a big smile today too, he seems quite pleased about his mind games with Locke.

i think Jack will lead this.. and someone like Kate (or walt) will be held hostage, and forced to make a drastic move.. knowing Jack he'd take kate back, because he  her.. i think a HUGE part of the story will be revealed in the last 20 minutes of the season finale.

as for michael, no way the others set him up.. i think michael knows the facts, and he's going back for walt, no matter what.

ah, that was the canadian preview i got in Ontario.. is there an american one, or are they both the same?

michael might not even know how strong the others are. he could just be trying to gather a group together to try and attack blindly :woot:

michael just said in the preview, "they are barely armed.. we can take them"

For a second I thought that healer guy was captain picard.....

ME, TOO!!!!

I think the healer looked sorta like the guy hunting Kate, but I know that's probably not right, because it doesn't make any sense. Aaand I can't keep faces straight.

But again, he might not know how armed they are. This is Lost, where nothing is what it seems.

I know nothing is what it seems.. but then again, this is Lost and they know we may think the complete oposite, so they through us a curve ball, and actually do what we think they are doing, but arn't doing (yes i know, so confusing, like that episode of friends.. "but they dont know we know they know we know they know")

but Lost always has a good trick up there sleves.. im sticking with my "research" island theory

Well that was the American preview, as it said it was on ABC. Don't you guys get it on some other channel?

yeh you dont want to forget about smokey...that could be theior backup plan and wtf is up with henry in the preview

CTV I think is the canadian promo and i'll see if I can get that up should be around soon I think that was the american promo :)

edit: ok the lowdown there is no canadian promo they used the ABC promo so whoever said they saw it in canada is right :)

i think the "others" don't want to leave this island because maybe they, too, believe that if they leave this island, they'll die.

it would be nice if int he end of the show, they are rescued but they refuse to leave because they are afraid to return to civilization, lol.

I think Michael is lying about "the Others", why?? because there is no Others, they're fake, fake beards, fake clothes, just to play along in the Dharma game. Has anyone got screens on the stuff the healer got on his walls, I think there was a Dharma logo there.....

    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
