Nelsinho
welcome to Neowin try install the sound card physically first and after leave windows find basic drivers, in this manner you know which is in control panel\system propertyes\hardware\device manager\sound video and game controllers right click on it and in tab drivers find name of driver then go to creative website and download it or still look link below <kx project drivers is fine> , (Y) http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/index.php?language=en
gizmo[5h1t3]
 whats the model number of the card m8? as far as i know, soundblaster dont make a live! 24 bit card. only the audigy and audigy 2 and upwards are 24 bit.
francoman
the card does exist. http://www.soundblaster.com/products/live24bit/ but, haven't found any drivers to help you with it yet.. ill keep looking. cheerz, francoman P.S. You could try the Creative Software AutoUpdate, maybe it will detect your card and/or detect a driver that works properly with it. here's the link: http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/s...dDspLangID=1033 gl mate. P.S.2. Also check out as pointed out by Winnerboy the KX proyect webpage. Im way more comfortable with those drivers than I ever was with Creative Drivers or support. IMHO. dougkinzinger
Just download the regular Live! drivers. If it doesn't give you the options you want, call Creative. --DK

Luchodd
regular live! drivers didn?t work i tried with the audigy/audigy2 drivers but didn?t work (it checks if there?s a audigy chip installed and of course don?t find it) can?t use autoupdate because windows xp detects the card as generic multimedia card. i sent an email to creative but they didnt answer me yet... that?s all for now... thanks
GUNNER
I would try manually installing the drivers.
Akuma-San
If still unresolved try the Audigy LS drivers, as the Live! 24-bit seems to be powered by a LS series dsp.

Acezo
Try installing the 5.12.05.522 Audigy 2 drivers ( http://www.station-drivers.com/page/sb%20audigy2.htm ) To install them on SB Live, unpack the file and run \Drivers\CTZAPXX.exe

I can't find those files you posted about, either. Do you mind posting them? Thanks!
