I can play it on a Geforce440 go laptop card (only DirectX 7). It looks like crap but runs fine.

Good god. Ive been playing for 2 hours now.. Im amazed. Really. This game is incredible. The physics, the mood, Im ****ing losing my mind. Though this one part Im stuck in. Its this room you go into, its FILLED with explosive barrels. A whole bunch, then the little metal things start flying at you.. dont know where to go then. Anyone have a clue? Everywhere I go is a dead end...

I'm stuck in this room too. I figure you have to climb the ladder,. walk along the pipe,. go into the next room and turn the wheel. Then everything floods. I don't know where to go from here

Anyone past this?

go up the ladder across the pipe to the other side, go through the tunnel up the ladder across the pipes to the other side of room, if you look down youll see a valve, turn it, go across into barrel room, down to sup lvl then through the pipe that was inacessable. from there get air(youll need it) swim to bottom free the Wire pylons to where they float, then jump on them to other side, congrats your through that maze

was it just me, or immediatly afte ryou left the train, you foudn out how to throw things, then immediatly started throwing baggage at teh combine and have them chase you around teh baggage cart all ticked, then continued to find everythign along they way and throw them at everything (even took the TV in the room witht he couple, yanked it from the wall and threw it at them)

its your system.. your overclocking and thats affecting the windows and game itself.. i've seen this happen on many other games.. it may work fine on some-but others it will just crap out.. :/

reduce the clock core by a few mhz.. see if that improves..

if its the pipe in teh barrel room, follow the pipe, dont try to go through that area where the buzzbirds came from

I dont get it though. I walk along that pipe and I cant jump that high. Theres a beam in the way. What the hell..

    • I can answer about the Linux bit. I only used AMD GPUs. I currently have a 9060XT (8GB) that fits my needs, I'm not a gamer, so I don't need that much GDDR. But lately, NVIDIA has grown a lot in the recent years. Oh, the horrors of NVIDIA drivers not working. But they have been getting better. I know a lot of members onm here that are running cachyOS and other distros, and are fine with a 4090/5090 variants. Really, though, I would stick with AMD variants.
