Lee G. I have the same problem too. I reckon everyone has the problem. BTW, I have 3 spam e-mails so far and I've only had the account 2 days (deserves me right for getting [email protected], but I'm not going to use it much and it has 250MB of storage space :)) EDIT:  Just went to the Hotmail UK page. Read this: We have teamed up with eBay and the NSPCC to offer a range of cherished [email protected]? addresses for auction. Choose from the top boy & girl baby names, top UK nick names and regional names plus we have loads of classic fictional TV and films characters up for grabs. Just think you could own [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] even [email protected] to name a few. There are over 50 cherished names on eBay so why not check it out and get bidding as every penny goes to the NSPCC. Anyway, who'd pay for those? You'll probably get your account hacked into after a while. Dazzla Veteran Posted November 20, 2004 Veteran Share Posted November 20, 2004 "Due to the popularity of MSN Hotmail, MSN has decided to pre-register several accounts and donate them to the NSPCC for auction." With the guy who's selling them being called "nspcc", that's off :hmm: time to report I reckon. Dazzla Veteran Posted November 20, 2004 Veteran Share Posted November 20, 2004 That's the thing, he's regged crap like [email protected], said Microsoft donated it to him (the NSPCC) and this is all for charity. When in fact it's just some idiot who regged all these names and is selling them on to make money. The guy should be kicked off ebay. Outlook, Outlook Express, MSN Client are the only e-mail clients that support DAV to my knowledge. pimpshiznid
I don't know of an easy way, but you could use a proxy based in the UK to access the hotmail site, and allow you to make a hotmail.co.uk address. Or sign up using UK information like the post code AS12 3DF You haven't specified what you have/haven't tried to get one and what is stopping you? If you want one of us here in the UK can sign an account up for you if you tell us the account I'm sure somebody will help you out...?
