Is there any way to regulate sigs from the user CP...?

EG: someone tries to make a big sig their sig, and it discards it and comes back as an error?

BTW,

Don't you think that's big?

I'm sure it can be done as a hack in vbulletin. And as for that sig being big, yes. But that should be the absolute maximum size. Of course, smaller is much preferred.

heh, didnt even notice:D

Anyway, i have posted the guidelines at the top of this page. Stick to them and you will be fine. I dont think they are unreasonable.

Disable sigs if you don't like 'em.... I've been complaining about the dubious content of women in some sigs and no-one cares, so either put up with them or blocks sigs in preferences.

Or block the people with the huge sigs... I did that with ones with rediculous half-naked women in... and it saves me having to sit through just that one persons sig when all the rest are fine.

Hummer & Anormal. I would strongly consider trimming your sigs. Too big. If you do not, i may just have to do it for you;)

Deadzombie...that sig is enormous. You should know better. Shame on you!:p

y, i already trimmed it twice....and its not over the 60K limit...so why? its not that big...there are bigger here.

EDIT:> HERE YOU GUYS PICK...

-or-

or the old one.

i personally have to say that I like the sigs, and im usually connectin over ISDN 64k, which ok is a BIT faster than 56k, but not much. I dont mind the wait because I think sigs give the Neowin forums character, I know when i go to a forum without sigs (or even custom avatars sometimes), it feels kinda boring, and there's no real way of someone expressing what their 'into' or whatever...

anwyay, thats what I think on the issue

:)

    • While LibreOffice is not pleased to see a new competitor, they are absolutely correct in stating that Euro-Office using a MS file standard as a default is not being truly "European." Using a MS standard just means Euro-Office is just a "bastardized MS Office Suite." (Wasn't a major purpose of Euro-Office was to get away from being captive and enslaved to MS's Office Suite??)
    • Microsoft continues its long-term policy of spying on their users--despite vehement denials. That feature will be disabled (or removed) either "elegantly" with MS providing a true way to disable it, or "quick and dirty" via a third-party who WILL come up with a way to disable it. Your choice MS...
