Barry Bonds Used Steriods

I'd say you are kidding yourself.

Indeed!

Whatever you want to think, buddy.

Question: if you didn't care, why would you even bother looking at this topic? Seems you're saying the opposite by posting in this thread.

I would disagree it is not a waste of my time to point out how

utterly stupid it is to fret over what some over priced jock may or may not

be polluting his body with.

90% of the population? Give your head a shake.

are 1000's of problems more worthy of your time, no?

You obviously have no clue what I said.

I never said it was the most important problem. If you read my post, you will find that nowhere did I say it was even an important problem. You asked who cares, and I said I'd say that 90% of the population cares, and I would imagine that that's a realistic estimate. And, I repeat my question: if it's just some over-priced jock (how can a jock be "over-priced", anyways? Do you mean "overpaid", perhaps?), then why are you even wasting your time in this topic? Obviously you're one of the 90% who cares, or you wouldn't even be replying.

/\ haha that kind of proves the whole point of posting those pics...Barry wasn't in worse shape, he looks like a linebacker. No belly on Barry :)

Fair enough but I'm sure Barry can manage his alcohol consumption. :shifty:

I mean, it's not just my dad's stomach that's gotten fatter, his whole body is bigger, naturally.

the fact of the matter is that he was taking steroids and the length of time between pictures doesnt matter. he did become more developed as a result and the pictures just prove it. u see those guns? you really believe he would have those guns at age 40 if he never used the cream and the clear? he may work out every day but for whatever the length of time he used them he got a boost in his physiology.

I saw that around 5 days ago.  Nothing unusual?  You don't bulk up with muscle, as your nugget swells without steroids.

Compare picture 4 and 16 from this link http://espn.go.com/mlb/gallery/19379073.html there's a fairly obvious difference in the shoulder, forearms and neck - which are very hard to develop from just weightlifting.

He was fairly toned but now he's ballooned. Its hard to explain, but if you do weight training and you're about the same size as the next guy and you lift the same or more than him and he's still bigger/more toned than you are ... there's something wrong. Once you've seen a few juice monkeys you've seen em all. Really easy to spot.

Jaded sports fans are the real crisis

Deep down, we don't want to re-examine sports heroes

Check out the caption from this pic:

Fans say Barry Bonds was wrong to use steroids, but they'll still pay to watch him hit them, Washington Post columnist Mike Wise says.

Call me Jaded, but I don't think i would pay anyone anything to hit me.

Ando as in andosterone?

It should be. Read the banned list by all the cycling associations. They have a huge banned list, and you can get tested at even amateur level. And case in point - there are very few if any monetary rewards until you get to the level of Lance Armstrong and the equipment costs a fortune.

Other sports should adopt a similar attitude.

No, as it wasn't a banned substance.  Did it help him?  Sure.  But you can't make him guilty because there was no law.

Neither was "The Cream" or "The Clear".

Oh but we just assume they're 'roids because we're all chemists here, right?;);)

Andro as in Androstenedione. It was banned by Major League Baseball in 1998.

    • Zen Browser 1.20.2b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. Vertical Tabs: Manage tabs vertically. Container Tabs: Separate browsing sessions. Fast Profile Switcher: Switch between profiles easily. Tab Folders: Organize tabs into folders. Customizable UI: Personalize browser interface. Security Features: Inherits Firefox’s robust security. Fast Performance: Lightweight and optimized for speed. Zen Mods Customization: Deep customization with mods. Quick Access: Easy access to favorite websites. Open Source: Built on Mozilla Firefox with community collaboration. Community-Driven: Active development and feedback from users. GitHub Repository: Contribute and review the source code. Zen Browser 1.20.2b changelog: Security Mozilla Security Advisory 2026-54 New Features Updated to Firefox 151.0.3 Boosts now support a dark mode UI based on your system dark mode setting. • "This transition will take several years so we shouldn't bother doing it at all" is a naive take. This is completely normal for all specifications that cross-cut software, hardware and multiple industries. Look at the PCI specification for another example, consumers barely have PCI-E 5 yet PCI-SIG is working on PCI-E 8. AV2 will take multiple years to get adoption and even then, even a decade from now people will still have older hardware that doesn't support it. That's fine, because the savings still add up as newer devices add the hardware to deal with it. The goal is never to get 100% on the new spec overnight, but to gradually adopt it.
