how do you like your 8525? im thinking of getting the 8125 because the prices for the 8525 (even refurbished) are really high still.

I love my 8525. I used to own the 8125 ( and sold it to get the 8525 ) and the 8525 is definitely a better phone. The extra processing power really does help out when you are trying to do multiple things. The camera is much better and so on...

What is that clock interface? Which device is it on, the Alpine?

Yea, it's on the Alpine. And you can actually get a screensaver that looks very similar here

ok.. now it's my turn ;)

Here are the usual suspects:

how do you like your blackjack? do you use it with data plan?

I <3 my Blackjack, and the 2gb microSD card gives me tonz of space for music and such.

I have it set up so my e-mails are delivered to it via IMAP (using gmail as my SMTP). I'm using the SmarthPhone Unlimited plan ($19.99 a month).

Also, if you use a service like Orb or Mercora M... you can stream music from your desktop (as long as it's on..)

Only issue I've ran in to.... is that the 3G network drains the battery fast. With normal use.. I have to charge it every night. But it comes with 2 standard batteries, so it's not too bad.

[edit]

oh.. he biggest pain in the butt to me was finding a case for it O.o

I'm picky when it comes to that kind of stuff... and ended up getting this one... after digging the web for days. The one I really wanted was this... but they are out of stock and I couldn't want any longer

I was planning on getting the XDA Atom or Atom Life but yeah, pretty expensive and no QWERTY..

How is the ORBIT?

Its fantastic, slim, sleek and does everything i need plus sat nav the only thing is to make sure you close tom tom once you reach your destination cos if you are visiting a client or something and your phone goes off saying "you have reached your destination" or even worse " turn around and go right" lol its quite bad

What about the most powerful mobile device that you can own? A laptop?

My 3-year-old HP Pavilion dv1000 (it actually turned 3 on the 9th), featuring an Intel Pentium M 1.73 GHz, 1.5 GB of RAM (originally 512 MB, then 1 GB), an 80 GB Hard Drive (originally 60 GB), 8x DVD Burner, 128 MB Intel GMA900, and Windows XP Professional SP3.

This thing has a few scratches on the top of the lid (from hitting some fake rock display on the coffee table in my living room) and it fell face first when it was put on a wobbly table, all that happened was a slight scratch next to the arrow keys.

My other mobile devices...

    • Brave Browser 1.91.178 by Razvan Serea Brave Browser is a lightning-fast, secure web browser that stands out from the competition with its focus on privacy, security, and speed. With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. Brave Browser 1.91.178 changelog: Fixed certain extensions not working as expected. (#56271) Fixed inability to use Brave Sync in certain cases. (#55203) Upgraded Chromium to 149.0.7827.196. • Yeah, I signed out of everything when I changed the password to my account. I keep checking device history and there's never anything new other than my own activity.
    • Microsoft are already committed to making patches for Win10 due to the IoT edition, so they may as well continue to sell access as they were doing the work anyway
    • Oh goodie! We can look forward to more videos of people with these huge bombs catching on fire, exploding etc. There is a reason why most countries restrict the size of LiOn batteries, especially in air travel.
