My new desktop for August is a bit different than before... Instead of a wallpaper, I've installed EarthDesk, which is essentially a live feed of Earth constantly transitioning from night to day. I'm also trying out DragThing, which is sort of a hybrid Dock replacement and application launcher. It's similar to the "tabbed folders" of OS 9, but much more stable.

Just stick your downloads in a "Downloads" folder in your Home folder :)

Currently using a hidden dock cause i want the extra room :D

The application Deskshade is your friend, my desk can sometimes have just as much crap on it. It's like throwing a blanket over a pile of junk :p
