Mr. Dee
You guys have probably heard of XP Starter Edition and the unique system requirements. only 3 windows allowed to be open at one time, 800x600 resolution, basic home networking, no fast user switching (No additional user accounts actually) etc. Now tell me, how is Microsoft gonna make Longhorn Starter Edition different? Since the aim of XP Starter Edition is offer a cheaper OS in 3rd world countries that cannot afford a computer because of the cost software. What significant improvement can MS offer in a new edition if they want keep it cheap? 5 windows open up from 3? 2 accounts allowed? We all know Aero is gonna be a no,no for this one! y_notm
It will probably have the same feature set as XPStarter, just on the Longhorn codebase so MS doesn't have to keep track of seperate codebases.
