Yes I do... I can't recognize a song after listening for the first 2 seconds, I have to listen to it... and that takes time.. If I see it on a screen it's much easier and faster.

I have an RCA player now + 1 Gig SD card and it cost me approx 150$. But:

1. I have a choice of online muic stores

2. I have a screen

3. I can upgrade capacity with other SD cards

4. I'm not paying for Apple brand ;)

LOLZ, time to get those ears checked out then...

My thoughts:

MAC mini: ***1/2

Pros: Way, WAY too small, the G4 Cube lives! Optional Super Drive, VGA to DVI converted included, respectable video card, starts at 500 bucks.

Cons: Limited number of ports without purchasing hubs, limited upgradability, the eMac of equal price and better spec will save you a few hundred if you don't mind a CRT display and will allow for more upgrades.

Very cute, and affordable. This will go over well with families and schools who don't need the most powerful system out there. This will definitly cause problems for budget PC makers (eMachine, Dell, Gateway, etc...) but unless you can upgrade more than the RAM Apple's gonna have to really sell it's space saving design. Coming with a VGA to DVI adapter was a very smart move on Apple's part. This will convince more people with existing PCs to make the move to Apple. So long as they don't mind spending 40 bucks for a new keyboard and mouse.

iPod flash: ****

Pros: Again with the size, USB stick that plays your music, very affordable (Perfect for kids or people on a budget), ideal for just listening to something on the go with very little setup. It's also a USB flash drive, and just like every other iPod, can be used for any kind of data. Show me another quality USB stick for 150 that hold 1Gig of data.

Cons: Limited space (For it's size), no display (Which isn't bad[/b], but will upset some people), runs off of classic batteries with short life spans, CDs can hold more mp3s than the low end model and almost all CD players now support mp3s (1 buck discs that can be swapped at anytime).

I still feel that the good outweighs the bad here, no display and no way of knowing what song you're on unless you listen to it will make people avoid this like the plague. It holding 420 songs at CD quality and being small, light, and very affordable for an Apple mp3 player will definitly be it's selling points. And with people buying multiple iPods at a time I see no reason for someone to come into an Apple Store or go online and get 4, 5, 10 at a time. :p

I still haven't heard anything about the Motorola phone, is there any news about that anywhere?

    • If the drive/memory is soldered to the board, which it probably is, then it's a no from me

    • We do it all the time on our IT Service desk mailbox to add a reference, in the subject line, once it's been logged and then it's filed into the appropriate sub-folder. Other companies probably do the same thing.
    • "No. The "New Outlook for Windows" does not support non-cloud mailboxes (such as on-premises Exchange servers). Furthermore, because the New Outlook effectively functions as a web-based client, it requires all connected accounts—even standard IMAP or POP accounts—to route and cache data through Microsoft's cloud servers. You can verify the accepted account setups using the Microsoft Supported Account Types Guide." Built to fail "New" Outlook is basically just webmail in a window wrapper and it's usefulness reflects that.
