^ Cool. Actually don't worry about the Pav? thing on my name though - I'll remove it from my sig soon as the ? character causes problems with some us:)s :)

EDIT: I'm going to edit my mirrors (as they seem to be a different file to yours, Tim - I'll download your mirror and then upload t:)t :)

Edited by Sprocket

As an official Beta Tester, I'm able to release some information on what is going on with the builds (to keep you guys all excited).

Changes in the latest build:

Conversation window works.

You name is now displayed at top (instead of Nexus Messenger) when logged in.

Resizable windows

Change of status (not sure if this was in earlier versions, I never checked)

Bugs Fixed

Space in name produced %20 in chat window

Multiple People in a covesation now works

Bugs Still Present

"Conversation Tab" does nothing

Resize a window too small and it will crash Nexus (Lee will be working on this tomorrow morning)

Finally something annoying which I found which I will talk to Lee about tomorrow is the fact that as soon as someone opens a window with you, it opens one in Nexus. I'm sure this is one of those "features" and not a bug.

As for the latest internal build, it is at Nexus2E1203. I'm currently not allowed releasing it to the public (due to some of the bugs mentioned and some I have yet to discover) but I can show a screenshot of it.

Note: Also I may add that I do all my testing with a gmail.com account so don't think only hotmail.com accounts work. They ALL do.

lol Colin-uk. Sorry I don't think I'm allowed leaking THIS build. When I talked to Lee to see if I could show it to you guys he told me "Well shouldn't I take out the 'Not for Public Use' message?". So I think he's going to work on a couple more things and we will have a new release soon.

As for the buttons on the top, do you mean stuff like "Games" and "Block?". Probably not ALL the one from MSN but I'm sure block and font changing will be in soon. (Note: I'm not actually designing this, just a beta tester. So I can't be 100% accurate with this information).

Also for users DP pic, I'm sure Lee will work on it when he gets to it. Right now he just wants to make it work.

Also, may I ask a favour TimRogers? I was wondering if I could get permission to use the butterfly you have on your mirror page for the official development page? I'm not that good at photoshop so I don't think I'll be able to make one as good as the one you designed.

Ah ok cool, yea i ment the buttons like Games etc

Sounds good *waits for the next build*

Oh and TimeRogers: i sent you a pm about mirroring, dont know if you got it or not :ninja:

excuse any typos im tired (&too lazy to correct any mistakes) lol

Lee69: There are a couple of public builds out there but none that support chat. I'm sure a build which supports chat will be out in the next day or two. So don't worry.

GHL: Are you applying your look to Nexus? Or are you just starting from scratch?

Can the leader of this project please PM me for my MSN Messenger address, i'd like to discuss my participation in this project further.

I might not continue work on Nexus though, I'd prefer a fresh new startup with both mac and windows coders, and to keep it organised.

Convo build is here, I have updated my mirror! The convos are working great, but someone opened a convo with me an I got a runtime error and the graphics went mad! Got a new signature too, if you are proud to be a mirrorer, there will be a signature put on the site for mirrorers to download and display!

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
