An Awsome Honda

I love my Lexus 1992 Es300. Sporty, and still very high tech. 0-60mph in 4 seconds and all stock parts. Love her.

I highly doubt your car does 0-60 in 4 seconds in stock condition. Most Porsches can't even do that, let alone some 13 year old Lexus ES.

Anyways, Sharque, do you have any other pictures of "your" car? You keep showing the same ones that look like scans from a magazine or something...

It looks great for another soulless Japanese appliance... There are so many great cars from that era with passion and soul and the legend is not one of them. Hell my Chevy Lumina Z34 looked like a work of art compared to that boxy toaster (nm the fact it would leave you sitting in a cloud of burnt rubber)

Acura RL

Click on the above link if you folks are interesed in the 2005 Variant of my Legend - This is the new version of the original car (even the name has been changed to RL) but hey it still exists!  a cool design with hi tech features and the honda reliablity - this may well be my next car :p .

This is a bargain Luxury car - cheaper than a lexus and half the price of Similar spec'd mercs n bmw's yet u get even more feature n power

While the new RL is bad ASS and flat out BEAUTIFUL....its hardly a cheap way to go any more...its 50k+. Pretty expensive considering you can get an ES Lexus for 40. But the RL is awesome. Great interior styling too.

Yeah, the fact that it can go for over 200,000 miles on original parts isn't special, while your domestic is requiring full engine work. I've never seen a domestic car hit over 200,000 on original parts. I have seen a Honda hit 243,000 on all original.

That's funny I have 2 cars and a van that are domestic with no less 220,000 miles on it original motors and minimal work done to them. My friend jess has a 96 Saturn SL1 with 275,000 miles on it and it still runs great. It doesn't burn oil it has only routine maintenance done to it... Everyone I know driving a Japanese car has a ton of problems (my mom will be the first to complain about the sludge sitting in the bottom of her 99 Camry XLE motor) compared to my friends driving domestics.. Most older Japanese cars riding around put out gobs of smoke every time they accelerate (older Eclipses or Civics anyone?). I still see plenty of domestics riding around from the 80's but not many Japanese cars from that decade because they are all rusted out in a junk yard. My aunt's POS Accord was given the nickname the $500 car because every time something breaks it costs at least that much to fix (She recently ditched it for a Ford 500 AWD). My cousin has three Civics and he changes the timing belts like he changes his underwear. His 99 civic had the motor rebuilt in it already. That's enough examples for now but I can go on and on... Are domestic cars and trucks flawless no but neither are Japanese cars like you are led to believe. Say what you want about American cars they cost a lot less to repair and most GM cars with OHV motors are super reliable (3800 Series)

Well, I think its the way the driver maintains and uses the car - Harsh usage of certain cars can contribute to its early decline... some give up sooner than others. If the Driver regulary services the car and drives it okay i dont see a problem with its drivability:pp but imo i ve seen more of the japanese cars lasting longer miles than other ones:blink::

haha yea right, 200,000 miles on original parts.. not even a tuneup needed or battery change right? Tell me where do you live again? Alot of how your car runs depends on nature's elements. Let me guess you have the original brake pads and rotors also correct? Probably the same tires too haha.

We have 3 "domestic" and a mitsubishi, well the mitsubishi has another prob with the tranny today.. so dont gimme that bs.

that honda you see hit on 243,000 original, you probably saw an extra zero or two there .

Anyway all this doesnt change the fact that the honda in this thread isnt anything special.

yeah if you correct those things your car might actually look pretty sweet. but the spoiler have to be changed and the rims too. and window covers need to be gone  ;)

585657015[/snapback]

Replaced the Rims, Spoilers and got rid of the window covers, Side skirts , reduced the front windows tint to 0% and finally i also added some new Xenon Headlamp bulbs and fog lights
