Happy Birthday = Feliz Cumplea?os

How we sing it here in Puerto Rico its like

Feliz, Feliz en tu dia,

amigito que Dios te Bendiga

YQue Reine la Paz en tu D?a

y que Cumplas Muchos Mas....!!

this we add to the end sometimes

Te tas poniendo viejo

con cara de conejo

con piernas de cangrejo

y con cuerpo de aveztruz

......

on that variable of HB song up there

it sound better with

"Cumplea?os ..Feliz"

"Cumplea?os ..Feliz"

"Cumplea?os (Tom)*to say a name"

"Cumplea?os Feliz"

The most usual is "Feliz cumplea?os", I'm from M?xico. In M?xico we sing "Las ma?anitas". This is the lyric (short version).

Estas son las ma?anitas

que cantaba el rey David.

Hoy por ser tu cumplea?os

te las cantamos a ti.

Despierta, mi bien (or his/her name), despierta;

mira que ya amanecio.

Ya los pajarillos cantan;

la luna ya se meti?.

Saludos!

Que los cumplas feliz, que los cumplas feliz, que los cumplas ... [name], que los cumplas feliz :p.

That's the way we sing it in Argentina, at least at the birthdays i was, and mine too. Lol.

There's a lot of variations

i'am from peru and i have never listen to some version previously posted

sometimes here the song is even mixed with the english version

It depends of the country then

be a little more specific

Either way is fine.

What a way to create an argument without one existing.

Usually the song is sung "Cumplea?os feliz" because it fits the melody better.

Of course, there are many variations of the song.

Well thank you guys

I found out my mom needed it because she planed on getting the whole class to sing happy birthday in spanish to her spanish professor.

I'll ask my spanish teacher and see what she says. I asked another spanish person I know and he says

?Cumplea?os feliz!, ?Cumplea?os Feliz!

Te deseamos todos, ?Cumplea?os feliz!
