Stonkwell Bogtrotter
Well, this is HotFixes for still unreleased Windows XP :) Hotfixes are available from M$ FTP server, but all files were password protected. Currenly it is not a free update, (it will be officially free soon), but not yet.. If you're using Windows XP right now and can't wait for Service Pack 1 then enjoy this now! :D If you want install all hotfixes Run "update.bat" If you want install every hotfix individually Go to "qXXXXXX_enu_i386update" and run "update.exe" "qXXXXXX_enu_i386.noauto" and "qXXXXXX_enu_i386.driver" updates require manual installation. Also you may run any "update.exe -l" to see what hotfixes already installed in your system. We hope it will help you to fight issues and to get your Windows XP more stable The filesize 14.4mb (15,110,925) Link one here - May be slow to start. Link Two - Uploaded on public mirror for ya Enjoy *axiouS By the way, if anyone wants it uploaded to thier server, let me know, and i'll post it for ya! :D
mcb
i feel a little hesitant to install this..any word on what is fixed in here, and when it will be officially released?
Stonkwell Bogtrotter
The file extracts to 46.6mb and contains all fixes & drivers currently available (I assume). From posts I have seen, there are NO problems with activation "appearing" and NO problem with timebombs etc. (if you have corp edition). Go get it, and wait if you are not too sure. I'm sure over the next few days alot of posts will appear about it. That is what I am doing. :rambo:
