Aaron Veteran Posted March 17, 2005 Veteran Share Posted March 17, 2005  Yeah i'm still new to Linux so I'll make sure I won't log into root again. As for the red hat icon... That was there when I updated from FC2 to FC3... I haven't actually done any customizations.. Still trying to get everything I need to work. 585624553 Don't worry we will make very certain that you will NOT get flamed here for being a noob! The one thing that I appreciate the most about Ubuntu, aside from teh good distro, is the forum community's willingness to be helpful and not condescending. Remeber there are no stupid questions, only stupid people... uh, wait that didn't come out right. ;) Anyone using Gnome 2.10? I'm considering unmasking it, but ATM I don't have the patience to fix any problems - should they occur. 585630266 I am using it with Hoary as well, and have had no Gnome specific problems. Come on do it, you know you want to, do it, do it, all the cool kids have already upgraded, what are you scared? :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/291147-gnulinux-march-desktops/page/8/#findComment-585630496 Share on other sites

rezza Veteran Posted March 20, 2005 Author Veteran Share Posted March 20, 2005 This is my attempt at porting "SystemGClassic", a metacity theme by hornett, to openbox. I'm using the clearlooks-indubstrial GTK theme here, and I decided to change away from using pypanel to fbpanel, which can give me just a system tray and pager and nothing else (nice). Which config file? lol! 585637870 You'd need to edit your .fvwm2 config file for that. Are you even using FVWM? If not, you won't be able to do that at all ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/291147-gnulinux-march-desktops/page/8/#findComment-585640539 Share on other sites
