so is it possible to use ieview for your chat windows, but still have your buddy list set like it is with MirandAdium+?

sorry if its a stupid question, it is just that i have spend forever setting it up how i like it so dont want to mess it up by trying ieview.

Also, how can I get the button with the smiley face to work? Is that the .asl file I had to choose under IEView plugin>Emoticons? (see below)

And, how do I preset the avatar so it'll show up the same for all my contacts and message window. (see below)

hey guys,

i have a little problem

somehow, the first time i open a msg window after i've loaded miranda, the skin works, but after i close the msg window and open another msg window, the skin for ieview no longer works. it lags when i type too, so i have to exit miranda and open it up again .....

anyone got a solution to this?

It's a bug nothing we can do but wait for the next release of IEView or just use 1.0.1.7

how can you get the smiley to work with the ie view plugin?????

i am a little confused about this.

1. First you uninstall smileyadd (if you have it)

2. Download any emoticon pack for IEView (miranda site)

3. Extract the file

4. Open Miranda options > IEView plugin emoticons

4.1 Enable smiley replacement > specify smilie for each protocol and choose the file you extracted

That's all.

hmm miranda keeps saying that I need to install png2lib.dll

to activate the avatar support.

But in de option screen I disable my avatars (globally off or something)

I just want to see the 2 duckies... does anyone know how to achieve this?

btw I'm using smoothoperator with ieview 1017
