Pakistan's Tour To India - Cricket Series

Recommended Posts

What an awesome performance by middle & low order of Pakistan batting line up. Being behind 204 in the first innings, and again being 10-3 in the second innings. Attack was led by Inzamam with 86 & Youhana with 68. Kamran Akmal & Abdul Razzaq did wonders with (109 & 71 ) when we were 241-6, no one could have imagined the result that we are seeing now as Pakistan have managed to fight from an impossible position to declare at 496-9 in their second innings. This is Pakistans highest team total on the Indian soil with Kaneria being the first Pakistani leg-spinner to capture 5 wickets in an innings in India.

India needing 293 to win with 25 overs left in the last days play.

A job well done Pakistan Team. Totally Committed Performance (Y) (Y)

I dont think australia are any good any more either, even new zealand are a challenge for them.

new zealand, a challenge ? obviously you didn't hear about the 5-0 series white wash of them in the one dayers by australia. the only game they challenged us was in the first game, the rest were easy wins

Also dont use the word paks as it is offensive to some people.

why not it's just like calling the british brits. or australians aussies

I was actually talking about the test match thats happening right now. Plus it depends in which way you actually use the word paks, if you use it as an abbreviation for pakistanis then it is totally acceptable.

It would be nice if we had won, we had the upper hand through most of the match. Good for Pakistan. It was a great game to watch.

Loooking forward to the next one.

OT: Has everyone in the UK been able to subscribe to Sony TV to watch the Cricket?

10/3 in the second innings wasnt as bad if you consider that the opening pair and the one down batsman of Pakistan are novices. I wouldnt call it an "impossible" situation because:

a. It is India, not famous for bowling out their opponents.

b. The pitch wasnt a "turner" and did not detereorate. Hence pitch on Day 5 was same as Day 1.

Agreed.

The test match is finally over and the result is a draw. I think Pakistan played better overall

585605507[/snapback]

Played better ? India had a 200+ run lead in the first innings, Pakistan was 10/3 in the second innings and literally played to save the match.

India should have won but pakistan lower-middle order and the tail batted really well. They were leading for 4 out of the 5 days and when a team does that it should win the match but again congrats to pakistan for pulling off an unexpected draw. Can't wait for the second test. It should have a lot more atmosphere because they're playing at Eden Gardens in front of 100,000+ people. I think that Khan should be dropped and Harbajan should take his place. Nothing wrong with the batting (apart from ganguly, but you can't really drop the captain).

Qasim are you trying to be funny with your postsor are you being serous? i hopes it's the former.

Also i heard that Balaji got fined for excessive appealling. I didn't really see him appeal too much but then i didn't wake up at 4.30 to start watching.

cricket is my life :p

it's mainly popular in india, pakistan, australia, england, sri lanka, bangladesh and new zealand. i have probably missed some but they are the main countries

it's very popular in the West Indies and it's farily popular in South Africa but it is losing the crowds.

Yes, 30% of his match fees. :p

Dont know why? I dint feel, it was excessive appealing.

And yes, harbajan should be brought instead of Zaheer khan. Can't wait...

Tomorrow it starts again. I love the eden gardens, seen quite a few matches there. Fantastic ground.

Re: Balaji, there was some excessing appealing but come on, he was off injured for a year so they should cut him some slack but a great performance from him nonetheless.

Yeah I heard they were going to play three seamers also. Should be interesting what team they pick. We'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Its going to be an early morning tomorrow.

go india go ................this time i hope our batting is as good , our bowling improves & the pakis dont get anymore flukes !!!

btw i have a feeling that the bike given to kamran akmal is a second hand one ......any guesses why ??? ;)

    • To give context to everybody, I bought about 2 sets of RAM, ddr4, 3200, 64 gb, 2 years ago. It costed me 150 usd for each set. If you buy RAM now you only incentivate companies to sell you expensive stuff, as Nvidia did.
    • KillerPDF 1.4.2 by Razvan Serea KillerPDF is a lightweight, portable PDF editor for Windows built for users who want full control without subscriptions, installers, or telemetry. It runs as a single executable, making it ideal for USB use and field work. You can view PDFs with smooth PDFium rendering, navigate quickly with thumbnails, zoom, and shortcuts, and reorganize pages using drag-and-drop. It supports merging multiple PDFs, splitting documents, and extracting selected pages. KillerPDF also allows inline text editing with font matching to preserve the original layout, plus annotations like text boxes, freehand drawing, highlights, and reusable signatures. You can search full text, copy content easily, and print documents with flattened annotations. Designed as a free and open alternative to bloated PDF tools, it works fully offline on Windows 10/11 x64. No runtimes install. Everything needed is inside the EXE (targets .NET Framework 4.8, which ships with every supported Windows release). KillerPDF key features: High-quality PDF rendering via PDFium Edit PDF text inline (double-click to modify text) Page thumbnails and fast navigation with zoom and shortcuts Merge multiple PDFs into one Split PDFs and extract selected pages Drag-and-drop page reordering Font matching to preserve original document appearance Text boxes for notes Freehand drawing tools Highlight overlays with adjustable color, size, opacity Undo actions and clear per-page annotations Create, draw, and save reusable signatures Click-to-place signatures anywhere Full-text search with highlighted results Drag-select or Ctrl+A to copy text Print with annotations flattened Portable single-file app (~10 MB) No installer, no admin rights required No account, no telemetry KillerPDF 1.4.2 changelog: What's new PDF form filling. Interactive PDF forms now render their fields (text inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons) as live controls. Fill them in directly and save — field values are written back into the PDF. PDF outline (bookmark) navigation. A new OUTLINES tab in the sidebar displays the document's bookmark tree. Click any entry to jump to that page. The sidebar auto-fits its width to the longest entry on open and can be dragged wider; switching back to PAGES snaps to the pages-mode width. Fixed Page rotation no longer reverts after saving. Rotations applied via the sidebar context menu now persist correctly through the save pipeline. Copied text words were out of order on PDFs where glyphs are stored in non-reading order (Issue #66). Text extraction now sorts words by position and uses a dynamic line-grouping threshold so both drag-select and Select All produce correctly ordered output. PDFs with malformed or non-standard XRef tables now open in read-only mode instead of showing "Invalid entry in XRef table" and failing entirely. • The very fact that a TPM (v2.0 specifically which is part of the issue I suspect) is now a baseline for any supported Windows installation will naturally mean other vendors will start to leverage it as they know it'll be there. It's called progress, and it's always been the way. A TPM isn't a windows thing, it's just a module designed to securely store keys. Secure boot isn't a Windows thing (although MS are the TCA as I recall hence the upheaval this year as the 2011 certs expire), it's just a way to verify a bootloader is signed. Windows simply leverages them.
