^^ LOL.  We shall see abt it.

30 mins. to go.....

India 3-0 up in this series :p

LOL! Lets make is 2-1!

I have to admit the Neowin theory of batting first, wins, it certainly was the case today, well done Pakistan, now lets make it 2-2, we've got the batting/bowling ability to proove it.

Bah! I too support the bat first and win theory :)

Pakistan team is insured by the Gujarat government, and each team members and staffs of the pakistanis are covered upto 2 crores rs. All this because pakistan refused to play a test match at ahmedabad. Thats good thing in one sense, we got one additional ODI :wink:

OT: Lol, when India won the first two matches , there was hardly any posts by the pakistani fanboys, now see...

It's a shame that cricket is not free anymore from bias decisions and favours...

585748985

True but that happens in any sport, back to the topic

Noooooooooo! What a horrible loss, our bowling was crap and Pakistan played really well. Excellent work by Naved-ul-Hasan and Younis Khan - how many catches did he take?

Good work by Pathan on batting - some nice sixes but too bad he was not able to complete his bowling, that was a wierd decision.

I suppose it happens when a team gets a big score batting first but we should have got closer, much closer, horrible loss. :wacko:

I know Pakistan has won comprehensively today and Naveed-Ul-Hassan and Mohammed Sami have bowled brilliantly but if we want to confidence of Indian batting line up further after this performance... We need to bring back Shoaib Akhtar... Most of Indian batsmen are out of form so presence of three strike bowlers in Shoaib Akhtar, Naveed-Ul-Hassan and Mohammed Sami would make our attack more potent and chances are that we could even run through their batting lineup quickly...

Younis Khan - how many catches did he take?

585749851

He take four catches! :yes:

Wow. All I can is just wow. Pakistan performed magnificently and they definitely deserved this win. Naveed Ul Hassan and Mohammed Sami just rocked. I loved the bouncer Sami threw at Dravid to get him out.

On the batting side, Salman and Malik did an awesome job and made it possible for us to get past 300. Razzaq was looking good, but unfortunately he got stumped. He can't play spinners too well. Youhana did an awesome job too. Loved that time when he reversed-sweep Harbhajan and Pathan couldn't stop it. It was priceless. Next over, Pathan is hit for a drivs and Harbajhan wasn't able to stop it. Those were priceless moments. :D

On a side note, I think Sehwag got out because he changed his bat, it's usually a bad sign in cricket. :p

Oh and good luck to both sides for the rest of the games. :)

btw, where are all the Pakistan supporters ? Not sporting enough as the Indian supporters to grace a loss ?  :whistle:

Yes, that is why our team had **** thrown at them from the crowd after India were being destroyed by our bowling.

OT: Lol, when India won the first two matches , there was hardly any posts by the pakistani fanboys, now see...

Nice try. Too bad we didn't get completely owned from your bowling the first two matches. Hey, at least we threatened to win the match everytime ;)

India's batting is overrated. Take out Sehwag from the equation, and your middle order comes under tremendous pressure, and crumbles.

India won the first two games only because of Sehwag and his brilliant batting.

Sehwag literally is a one man team. So many runs, so many catches, and now a couple wickets for India too.

Indian batting....errrr....I think Dravid is a Major Thorn..!

Shewag, when scores, indian's target surpasses 300, otherwise Dravid makes sure that its somewhere around 280.

Anyways...damn it feels good how my Team came back......brilliant Victory, and about Shoaib Aktar, this fellow needs a lesson and he's gettin it. He should learn to play the whole series with effort not just one game. He is trained from the Legends (Waqar and the mighty Wasim), just if he's loyal to his team. Anyways, Naveed Impressed everyone today.

True. I really think they shouldnt play him for the rest of the series, even though he is fit. Should help him learn a few things about team work :)

Hmm...lol

Ganguly---> 8k runs

Sachin ---> 13.5k runs

Dravid ---> 7k runs

Yuvi and Kaif ---> 3k runs :p

Laxman --->some 4k runs or so.

India has one of the best batting line ups in the world and even inzi accepted it :yes:

Hmm...

It's because sehwag is in tremendous form, it makes you fell such. When sachin won matches for india (remember those India Versus Australia matches at sharjah?), ppl said that sachin is a "one man team".

I wanna go up to Ganguly and laugh at him! :laugh: Seriously, he used to be one of my favorite batsmen from the Indian team, he's totally out of form now.

585751881

Even for me, he was my favorite man in the team, but now i feel he should be rested and instead laxman should be brought back into the team :whistle:

2-1 in the series and its good to see it coming alive, our team usually comes back quite strongly against India, old arch rivalry i presume causes this. Good show we put up yesterday and i hope we put up an even greater show in Ahmedabad where i think the ODI is tomorrow right ??

Naveed is sure becoming our lead strike bowler. Boy if he keeps that line n length of his with movement, he could become our teams McGrath for the future :)

That is natural and dont try to equate that with the behaviour of people here at Neowin. When India won both the ODI & Test series in Pakistan last year :D, Indian team got some **** thrown at them too, most Indian team supporters just ignored it as the "friendship" theme was going on. Judging from your reply, Pakistan team supporters are not as patient. :rolleyes:

No doubt they have a great record, but right now besides Sehwag, who can help the team win a game? No one...

Funny I don't seem to recall that considering I watched every single game last year. The Pakistani team also had someone throw a stone at their tour bus, shattering a window and the glass almost cut up Inzi. There's a long history with Indians throwing things at the opposing team when things are going their way, and not just against Pakistan.

I guess you didnt follow local Pakistan newspapers when India was on tour of Pakistan. There were many such 'incidents' on that tour too but I dont recall the Indian media or fans making it that big of an issue. I guess most of the Pakistani cricketers, fans are all drama queens.

Also remember that the Indians toured Pakistan even though they had recieved life threats.

Oh please. The only reason I mentioned that was because of your provoking comment. Anyway I don't think we should ruin this thread with all this trivial stuff. Back to the cricket ;)

Ganguly 'fined entire match fee'

Sourav Ganguly has been fined his match fee because of India's slow over-rate in deefat to Pakistan on Saturday, according to a team official.

However, a formal announcement has not yet been made by the ICC.

Ganguly was summoned by match referee Chris Broad after India took almost 30 minutes more than the allotted time to complete their 50 overs.

Pakistan compiled 319-9 before claiming a 106-run victory to leave the six-match series 2-1 to India.

Last November, Ganguly was handed a two-Test ban for his team's slow over-rate during a one-day defeat to Pakistan in Calcutta, but successfully appealed to the ICC

AlleyMan: I could, but it's common knowledge :p

I can't understand we Indians can't bowl faster, pakistanis are able to bolw at least 14 overs an hour... Many time we have lost some 3-4 overs (the days when the second batting second overs were cut, if they bowled slow) and now ganguly has been fined his match fees and even banned from playing a test match :(

Tickets for the Ahemedabad ODI is sold out ! we can expect a full house of 47k ppl!!!

they can but when the opposition is attacking you, you have to try and slow it down and lose their momentum. usually the indian team is fine with the over rates.

Ganguly isnt banned for a ODI ?? i think he just might sit out for tomorrows match and let Dravid captain while someone in form can take his place.

Wohoo !! tomorrows match will be a good one, i hope :)
