i'd love to do that for you but my preconfigured miranda which I made for a friend is too damn big, something like 15 megs.

the reason its so big is because my friend is so damned lazzy I had to include everything else in there (not just visual stuff) but some very handy preconfigured plugins also.

what I can do however is create a list of essential plugins for miranda with a breif description for each one, and you can simply go and download them yourself if you think they may be of some use to you.

sorry for my very bad english

(that's one of the reason that i could't make miranda looks good :s )

wow! very compact KP 1.5 meg, not bad. I should try and bring mine down to size like that.

Its a shame it dosent help the new user much though, they still have to configure each plugin manually, thats one thing thats been bothering me about MIM, if only there was a way to save plugin settings to a seperate file, then it can be shared with others. but I guess we wont see that happening any time soon, or perhaps ever.

karma_police thank you a lot for the MIM =), really thank you but how the kronik say i got to configured everything manually, today i'll try to read again the tutorial and try to make it work :s, I guess I couldn't but who knows :D thank you ;)

Hey russellc,

I've been trying to get into using IEView (I was just using the options in tabsrmm before), but I can't seem to get any of your templates except for the SoftWhite,Splash,Zinc pack. I'd like to give some of the others a try, but it seems like your site is down (the one where everything is linked to).

Any help would be appreciated. :)

how do you get the multiple messages under one name?? i have the newest ver. of tabsrmm and every time someone sends multiple messages, it puts them in different "tables"... picutre to explain what im talking about...

know.jpg

when i previously have miranda installed, it would put multiple messages in one "cell". anyone know how to fix this?

If you're looking at the threads here on neowin, try out the mirrors :p thats what theyre there for :)

As for my site, its gone to the worst, its nothing atm. the host pulled all free sites with no notice really. my site just went down and i had no idea what was going on :p

at the light of that issue, if anyone can refer me to any free hosting (with php, mysql, ftp access) that would be great. i would hope that you actually use the hosting long-term and can be able to put out a short critique about it. thanks :)

Hey guys, I finally got miranda to look the way i want it to look. After several months, that i've given up, today I finally gave it another try. Anyways, the problem I have is that whenever someone do this : ) or : = or : p i dont get this :). What plugin do i have to download to get this result :) instead of : )

    • New Outlook for Windows and Web is getting a simple but very useful email feature by Sayan Sen Recently Microsoft put up a blog post highlighting not one, not two, but 15 total reasons why it feels you should switch to New Outlook already. If that was not enough, the company is bringing another new feature soon that could finally compel you to switch over to the new app. According to a recent update on the Microsoft 365 roadmap, the tech giant is making changes to how message sorting works when users choose criteria besides the traditional options of From, Subject, or Date Received. The idea is to provide better options for the attribute being used for sorting and make it easier to understand why messages appear in a particular order. For those unfamiliar Outlook already allows users to sort emails using a variety of fields including sender, category, importance, subject, and message size. Users can access these options through the Filter menu in Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web. With the upcoming change, whenever users sort by a field other than From, Subject, or Date Received, Outlook will automatically display an additional column showing the value being used for the sort. For example, if messages are sorted by Size, a Size column will appear in the message list, allowing users to immediately see the data that determines the ordering of emails. Microsoft believes this should make sorting behavior simpler and reduce the need to manually adjust views or inspect individual messages. Support for sorting by Flag Due Date is also coming and should be especially be helpful for users who rely on email flags to manage follow-up tasks and deadlines. The feature is listed under Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 564803 and is expected to reach general availability beginning later this month itself (June 2026). You can find the entry here. As always though, users should keep in mind that roadmap timelines can change and rollout schedules may occasionally be adjusted by Microsoft. Outlook for Web is also set to receive this feature.
    • That is true. but the liability side of my balance sheet is clean and has been for decades.  Nobody comes a knocking,  calling or writing harassing me for the money i owe them.😎👍  Haven't dealt with "a money changer" in decades and like Jesus it was in Jerusalem.  Don't have much money, but have even less stress in my life.👍👍     P.S.  Sorry, can't walk on water or change it to wine,
    • Maybe ? DLSS Swapper (can swap the DLSS/FSR/XeSS versions) as long as the game (typically online/competitive) doesn't checks for file tampering. You can try different version(s) or update if not the current version of the FSR. https://github.com/beeradmoore/dlss-swapper
