u just use photoshop to create the icon 15x15 is what i use then covert it to ico ... or use special icon editing program..

well clist_mw is another contact list, it doesnt add junk it replaces your current contact list.  As I told you if you want to read your messages without using clist_mw the only way is with mTooltip

i just quit. cause i am trying to do all in my spare time and this just wont stop looking ugly. i installed miranda when 4.1 final was released and got ieview with russellc's beautifull templates also scorpio's blog template. but miranda clist didnt stop looking ugly.

so back to gaim.

Does anyone have working links to Adium X tutorials? The blog that they are posted on around neowin doesnt seem to have them. I remember when i tried to get a nice look for miranda, i just ended up getting a complete transparent background with only contacts showing, which i was fine with. But its getting annoying since it limits my wallpaper choice :'D!

Alright man here we go.

First go to options--List Background+

Click on your Online contacts, Away, NA, etc.

If you want to make it look transparent change your alpha levels to about 60% or so

If you want to curve the edges of your "Expanded Group" check the Round Corners box and pick which corners you want to round.

If you want gradient click the gradient box and pick which direction you would like the gradient to go. For the colors of the gradient you have the 2 color pickers right below it.

I know this isnt really helpful but this stuff is self-explainitory

edit:- ok after a bit of tinkering. i got to this. (which i say ugly seeing all others.)

i dont know why doesnt my clist_nicer IMPORTS .clist files and applies as it should do. mayb version conflict or something...

lets see.. if i can make this any prettier later when i get time.

If you are using tweakui:

1. Select use default border

2. Restart

3. Resize

4. Choose no border again if you dont want it

5. done

You know, when i made this topic, i should have made it "Miranda Real-Time Help Chat"

While i'm asking, i've been having random disconnet issues since i opted to "use MSN 7 protocol"

Anyone else having this? I don't even know what using the 7 protocol changes anyway. Except for that winamp thing using simpleaway i guess =/

MSN 7 protocol - the only change is personal messages so if you dont want to read/write personal messages just disable it.
