Hi!

Does anyone know how to fix these problems I got?

the text at status bar is in Statrus Bar options

you can't make toolbar smaller but you can hide it totally

Basically just to show off how awesome my Miranda is, here's my setup,

Just about everything there is NFR, except the Status icons which are the regular Aqua ones.

why file transfer sucks??? i love miranda but when it comes to trnasfers is really, really bad........it doesnt matter if i foward the ports

^^ Yeah, that's always a stupid problem, therefore if I need to transfer anything, just use Imageshack for images, and sendspace if you're uploading files. There's nothing you really can do about that.

Quick question: In Group Chat, how do you replace/remove the ridiculous 'badass blue smiley' icon up the top left corner of your window? I'm thinking Reshacker/Replacer, but I'd prefer if there was some alternative method.

I just went through the miranda32.exe file with Reshacker - I couldn't find the resource image. Appreciate any help.

I am using the latest miranda version.

How do I set the following options:

-When I recieve a message from someone, a window is created, but minimized.

-When someone initiates a file transfer, a window is created, not just a blinking tray icon.

-Have the following groups in the Contact list: Online, but seperated by services, and offline contacts for all services.

-Show more info about a contact on a mouseover on the contact list.

I could try and make one from the screenshots from Jim-Phelps.

I think it's just like those Linux skins with GPL license, you can do whatever you want with it and release mods and such.

So I think I can just make a pack from the screenshots :)

Also... is there any normal history viewer?

Which can display the log as a chat, not as incoming,outgoing one line at a time?

Is there any way I could make the contact list have a skin or sth which would fit the rainmeter/rainlendar style?

Also, any way to display the status messages in the message log?

After I close the message window and reopen it, the last 10 messages are there, but the status messages are gone.

you would have to create a skin for Modern Contact Layered plugin (it's skinnable contact list plugin, tht supports PNG)

Punio, I'd say the perfect skin for that desktop right there if you want it to match with the transperancy and all would be ModernClear 1.2.0

But how do I move the contact list?

If I grab it for a titlebar, I only drag the contact list out of the... skin... I'm confused...

^^ Just grab a place on the skin that isn't occupied by any of your Contacts and move it that way.

there is only 1 way to do this, in newest Miranda it's:

Options -> Network -> Protocol Order

and just untick what you want

Anyway... i have a problem with the msn protocol...

Using miranda 0.5, and i have the option "send message font/color info".

I do not plan on having custom formatted text, but some of my contacts do, and I cannot see their formatting.

I only have smileyadd and clist_modern as manually added plugins...

I don't have the Protocol Order thing, I should have the newest Miranda (I downloaded it yesterday). The only plugin I have is tabsrmm.

The easiest way is to go to the "Plugins" section of the settings dialogue and switch off all the protocols you don?t want over there. That?s i:D:D
