Any good idea for a ieview template for my configuration?

anyone know how to add smileys ...i have ieview ( the latest version ) and i am stumpted on how to get a smiley pack with it .

smiley plugin doesnt work...i already tried putting it in my plugins and restarting miranda...nothing changed

if there is anything else i need to do can someone tell me please

I cant understand miranda attitude. How they refuse to add custom msn emoticos saying that its illegal when other IM clients use them without a problem?

Ok... I installed the latest ieview... 1.094 or something, the latest tabsrmm... And i downloaded a couple of themes...

I enabled the option "use ieview as the default message log" in the tabsrmm options. I went to the ieview options and selected either the css file or the... other one... it doesn't matter. The chat log looks... the same.

Also, how do you enable smiley support in ieview?

Mm using the new 0.5 build as well as the latest Modern Contact List and have a certain issue! Ive already installed it twice on account that whenever i start it up for the first time there is a default skin loaded. Not sure if its just built in with MCL or not but its agrivating the hell out of me. I like mine to be minimal looking and previous versions of the MCL didn't do this. What is the problem?

Ok... fixed some of the issues when switching to tabsrmm... Now, the only thing i am missing is the following feature:

When i hover over a contact in the clist, a popup appears, showing a full-size avatar, adress, nick, status, etc. Like in trillian ;)

Is there anyway I can give my contacts custom names (IE John instead oh johnman231)? I only use the aim client if that matters.

don't you have "Rename" option when you click on the contact with Right Mouse Button ? or while adding a contact to list ?

I also want a plugin that does this, as its annoying to have to rename people or check their user details, too many clicks :p

It IS unlawful to use them without permission. Miranda devs respect that and choose not to use them. Who knows...MS may start looking after their property one day.

The plugins Tipper and mToolTip (discontinued, but still works) will do this no problem.

For emoticons you need to install SmileyAdd and any emoticon pack of your choosing.

arethere any smiley packs that closely resemble the msn ones, so u at least know what kind of smiley is what

i extracted the smileadd unicode folder into the miranda root directory like it said and it is not showing up in the plugins list in miranda...i dont know what is wrong, i have tried tihs before and i got the same result.

You have to make sure smileyaddw.dll is in the plugins folder

Are you sure its in there like this

C:/x/x/miranda/plugin/smileyaddw.dll

and not

C:/x/x/miranda/plugin/smileyaddw/smileyaddw.dll

Sometimes when you extract it will creat a folder and you dont want that you just want the dll to be in the plugin folder.

I'm having a problem with IEView and russellc's port of GoneDark.

I can't click links, the mouseover just doesn't appear. The link is clearly defined though.

Any ideas?

Right click the miranda item with the name Sam in it > Hide Titlebar

That should fix it :)
