I have miranda .5.1 (latest official off the website) and i cannot get modern contact list going at all. i cannot see it in the plug-in list at all (version .4.3.55). what else could i be doing wrong? it simply does not show up :(

Hi can someone help me out. I totally new to Miranda so still not familar with how it works. I keep trying to load a IEView template and Im getting a runtime error on line one, I am however using a development version of Miranda:

Do you have IE7 installed by any chance?

If so try installing the version from here, that should fix it.

I zipped up my Miranda folder before I formatted a couple of months ago. I hadnt used it since then. I ran it recently and got those script errors someone a few posts ago mentioned. I decided to start from scratch and I cant get my ieview working.

In the ieview plugin section in Miranda options I have Template checked and pointed to the Longhorn_glass_thin.ivt but I just get the stock message window. I'm not sure what else to try.

samething happenig to me the only difference is that i'm using 0.6.1 build 13 or 14 dont remmber

Not sure, but I think you need another plugin to get IEView to work - it's like Tabsrmm I think or something.

IEView works within Tabsrmm. Personally, I use Scriver since it's a bit simpler than tabsrmm and paints the window more natively. Tabsrmm gave me an issue with an XP theme I was using.

Hi everyone. I recently downloaded Miranda and started customizing it because I couldnt stand how poor AIM 6.0 was. One thing I wish I could find on Miranda is to have it reconnect by itself if there is a brief lose in internet connection. AIM has this so that if I lose my signal and connection for a minute, it will reconnect when it connects again. Does Miranda have this feature?

1) How do I get it so that new messages pop-up as windows and not in the system tray?

2) How do I get it to show users idle times?

3) Be able to read profiles in a window and not a browser?

2&3) I'm using AIM and I would like to see the profiles for each buddy. The way Miranda is set now it wants to show it in a web browser

AFAIK you can't yet. The AIM plugin isnt that advanced for miranda.

I hope someone can help me with this one: yesterday I installed Miranda again after a long time. Downloaded the latest plugin versions etc. So far all is going well, my only problem is IEview. I tried tabsrmm and scriver, both have the same effect: when I enabe Ieview and open a message window, miranda just crashes. What`s going on here?
