Either that or 50 of my contacts organised a mass sign-out in protest of something :p I was fine for a bit (I use Windows Messenger) but have since been kicked out, and the service status says it's having Temporary Difficulty. Could it be a by-product of the security testing that's been going on on the MSN 7 Beta 723 build? I had a warning displayed about it this morning.
