It's also:

- Bloated

- Slower then Opera (To start, to use)

- Fairly secure as in has had more holes than Opera in the past 12 months, at this rate it'll rival IE in security flaws

- Tied to computer platforms only - I can, and do use Opera in my cell

Neither is perfect, but I still prefer the red-O'.

They are both good.. you'll have to try them to see what you like.

Opera pros.. lightning fast navigation with the "back button" with no constant page refreshing... faster rendering, albeit only slightly, less memory usage

Firefox pros... More configurable, in my opinion.. ability to add extensions and functionality, quick, secure...

In end end I think firefox gets a slight edge in my book.. I've just gotten used to it, and I like to tinker, and I've got it "tweaked" just the way I like it.

Firefox! Why? Because it's free, and i don't like browsing with AD's on opera.

Also i get to use a lot of extension, for which i am comfortable with :)

opera's free... i just signed up for some promotion and got 7.54u2 for free, a step below version 8. you can upgrade to 8 for $8 if you really want to. adblocker.css is great for opera.. and filter.ini in kioski mode.

i actually use all 3 of them... opera for normal browing with all plugins off, javascript and java off for pretty high security. i then use firefox for anything i need plugins, java, flash or javascript. then i use IE for those rare occasions that the site doesn't work with either.

You have complete control over mousegestures, which is more than you can say about any other implementation of gestures.

i have both firefox and opera 8 installed, but personally i like firefox more, its far more customizable and has great features. Although Opera does do, i have problems installing plugins and blocking ads with it.

I've tried Ad-filter and iv tried installing the plugins but its just soo difficult. With firefox its soo easy to learn. THe only draw back with firefox is the Memory usage and the startup time. Anything after that and its an amazing piece of application.

Memory leakage is a pain in the a**. And startup time is horrific too. =\. What's the difference between running FF, Opera, IE? How is FF "easier" to run? They all do the same basic things. Oh and my Opera8 blocks ads fine =P.
