Start button flag should be like Longorn one, but it's win xp one. I don't want Longhorn transformation pack to change it.

...oh if only I had a dollar for everytime I'd (tried!) to mention this to Windows X :)

Just downloaded it and read in the installer that you need Style XP installed to get it to work :(

Is there a reason for this? Why can't you apply these themes using the patched UXTheme.dll method?

Somebody please enlighten me, it's sooooo annoying when the earlier version of this Aero theme was simple to apply and then the final version requires you to download/purchase 3rd party software just to be able to run it.

very disappointed.

it works fine for me .. but i would like to see a white flag on the start button is there any way to make this happen.

also just wonderin why you removed the dark grayness:

black4qr.jpg

also is there any way to make the menu go to the side instead of the bottom i really don't think it should be moved

Thanks alot Windows X its a great theme :D :D

I agree, a white start flag would be awesome, i don't know why you don't just change it in the theme. I also think that the aero glass theme could use a little more work. When you maximize the theme it gives a dark framecaption image. I know you have said previously that this is how it looks in longhorn, but who cares? It looks nasty in the theme. You should just change it and make it match the rest of the theme. Also, the framecaption could stand to be a little bit larger in the aeroglass theme, it makes it feel so tiny and compressed.....

WHOO HOOO !!!! Great job there WindowsX !!! So many styles to choose from too. Trying out the Aero Glass theme and found a couple of glitches. When a window is minimized i get this:

http://img95.echo.cx/my.php?image=minaeroglass1gz.jpg

when I maximize..it changes to black (???) and the font is unreadable

http://img221.echo.cx/my.php?image=maxaeroglass4bk.jpg

Also I noticed that the forward and back buttons are not recessed in the taskbar...

If I find anymore I'll let you know...

Great work !!!

Slight problem with the Aero Glass Style. When hovering the mouse over the close, max, min buttons on an inactive window they highlight but the only half unhighlight when moving the mouse away. They do clear back to the normal grey/sliver colour when making that windows active again.

http://img95.echo.cx/my.php?image=minaeroglass1gz.jpg <--- It really can't be helped to keep captionbar on top as shot but icon still be showned in full size although it reachs the top.

http://img221.echo.cx/my.php?image=maxaeroglass4bk.jpg <--- That's what happened in real Longhorn OS so I'll change it later in next release.

http://img113.echo.cx/img113/4446/aerotheme3he.jpg <--- It couldn't be fixed or it might but it's beyond my knowledge.

Thanks for informing me this, looking forward to see more ;)

Looks like it's transparency bug (must be bitmap or no trans pic) but I decided to keep this like hovered button. Looks cool, though :p

To do list for next release (Just thinking about these ones right now)

-Change maximized captionbar to darker ones from original udwm.dll file

-Move shellstyle to left or right (perhaps)

-Switch startbutton to full picture mode (say bye bye to custom flag mod and non-English startbutton text)

    • I noticed this was already happening within my organization; my teams location will change between remote and on-site without me having to do anything. Is it possible this is live already for select customers?

Using a MS standard just means Euro-Office is just a "bastardized MS Office Suite." (Wasn't a major purpose of Euro-Office was to get away from being captive and enslaved to MS's Office Suite??)
