Middle school bans hugs

Recommended Posts

Not only do I personally consider this as stupid as the "invention" of net curtains, but it also detracts from what a lot of people are worried about: people growing apart.

People today work from home, talk on the phone, IMs, E-mail... The list of reasons for staying at home starts at takeaway food and internet shopping and goes on and on. People don't make contact like they used to and it's getting worse. The last thing we want to do is stop physical contact for children and teenagers. It sounds mad to me.

Mmm, taste the bull.

Coincidentally, I just recently got a referral at my high school for hugging my girlfriend. After school. Right before she got on her bus. Detentions are in line for her and I.

We were, of course, disrupting all sorts of learning experiences by hugging, such as nothing.

God, people really need something better to do.

I totally agree, I don't see much of my friends as I used to. I mostly chat with them on msn. Sometimes see them outside.

But now no hugging? What is the world coming to. We need a new big bang.
