Not sure if I'll play through the other character all the way through though, the Necro is tight but I'm not sure :|

I want to try a necromaster so badly, but I never see any guild fight with them in GvG. I am worried that if I build one up in PvE it will be a waste of time because I would never use the skills in GvG.

no more edit button??

anyways, one more question: How do you get the elite skills?

The story line doesnt end at the HoH, it keeps going for quite a time after that. I havent finished it my self but I know that you still have a lot of story left

Also you can get Elite skills by using "signet of capture" which you can find in a city (forgot the name) in maguma jungle. Once you get them you go out and fight a high level boss monster and when he/she uses an elite skill you activate your sginet of capture and you capture the skill. You can only learn skills of your profession and every signet cathches one elite skill so you would need a few signet of capture, which will cost you some gold and skill points.

I think I might have fixed my crashes problem

I played yesterday for about 4 hours and no crash

What I did was uninstall catalyst 5.5, runned driver cleaner pro, checked every single ati component. Cleaned, rebooted and installed 5.5 again.

So thank you ati, for these "amazing" drivers

Find a boss with one and use your "signet of capture" on him.

You won't get access to a "signet of capture" until Lionguard.

Edit: didn't realise there was a page after his question.

Where'd ya find bears? I want one!

You can give them to pet training people, they're normally one as you leave ascalon and another as you leave new ascalon.

585965883

In pre-searing ascalon there are bears in the district thats north/east of ashfurt. The one that leads you to the ice mountains. When you enter the district, go right and youll find bears all over the place. but those bears got spells, and if your alone its impossible to catch one. I didnt try it in a group yet. In post-searing ascalon there are manny bears too, but I dont think those got spells so I wana get one in pre-searing

Is there anyway to teleport back to pre searing?

And where is this 'all over the place' I'm up at yaks bend right now and havn't seen any yet.

585969555

No you can't go back to pre-sear.

And maybe I'm blind also, but I haven't seen one bear yet in post-sear. :|

Do all players play on the same server, or at least have a way to get their character to play on other servers, or are you stuck on the server you pick forever, like warcraft?

There's one server, however the towns aree seperated in zones, so there's is more than one zone of each town. But it's not like war craft or anything because say your frinds are in Ascalon American District 7, then you can all just select that from the drop down menu and bam you're all in the same district.

    • UK funds £60M AI labs to challenge US tech dominance with open-source models by Paul Hill The UK government has awarded £60 million to Oxford University and University College London to help keep the country in the AI race by focusing on open-source, low-hardware alternatives. This is in stark contrast to the expensive, closed-source, and high-hardware-requirement models being created in the United States and elsewhere. The money will be shared among two new academic research labs over six years to help them redesign the fundamental mathematics and architectures of AI to help the UK reduce its reliance on a handful of US tech firms. Commenting on the development, AI Minister Kanishka Narayan said: Initially, the government planned to fund just one lab with a £40 million investment, but with this update, two labs will now get access to a larger pool of funds. The labs are expected to invest in the top AI researchers at every career stage, with £2 million per lab being set aside for hiring at least ten doctoral students. The government hopes that this will grow the UK’s talent in the field of AI. The labs are also expected to work closely with the leaders in British AI research, such as the Alan Turing Institute and UKRI’s AI research hubs. This will allow the various teams to collaborate and create new solutions faster than they could alone. This development is pretty interesting for a number of reasons, chiefly that it could create a long-term challenge for US tech firms if these labs successfully scale these open-source architectures that bypass the proprietary ecosystems. It could also give British businesses and public sector organizations access to AI features without paying high licensing fees to foreign providers or needing to invest in specialized server infrastructure.
    • If I were them, I'm gonna hold out until the prices of these semiconductor parts normalize. $1,049 for a ~5 year old hardware is DoA, more so for gamers. On a deeper note, if Steam Machine is priced like this, we are soo effed up for the next gen Xbox console and PS6. With great AAA titles releasing at the end of the year, this just creates more demand...and more tears for me. Lol.
    • I suspect one reason its hard to justify subsidising is that it's not a locked down device like a traditional console is. In this climate sadly if it was a "good deal" you'd get people hoarding them for anything but gaming. The Lenovo Legion Go 2 with the Ryzen Z2 Extreme is £1300 here ($1720) for some context on how other SteamOS like devices are now priced. I got the older Z1 Extreme model for £300 with a dock, just shows how insane prices have got recently.
