Neowin Logo Avatars removed?

I remember there used to be a set of Neowin Logos that could be used as avatars in the Avatar Gallery, there was a Blue, Red, Green, Purple, Silver Round "N" etc.

I wanted to use one, and I want to know where have they gone?

I used the avatar generator, but Neowin wouldn't allow me to use the link. I then saved it my computer, and still no. Finally, I hosted it on Imageshack. Then it showed up as a red X on Neowin. :huh:

I used the avatar generator, but Neowin wouldn't allow me to use the link. I then saved it my computer, and still no. Finally, I hosted it on Imageshack. Then it showed up as a red X on Neowin. :huh:

Thats because the avatar as a jpeg file extension which isn't aloud on neowin, I just saved mine as png and it was fine.

Not like the generated ones, or the full Neowin logo in the header of each page, but like the one that was in Joel's current Sig/avatar. It had all the colours of the rainbow.

In the avitar generator... for background #16... does that comply with the neowin rules? We don't swear on the boards but am I to assume that a middle finger is ok?

Did I triple post or you talking about someone else? I don't know, it probably was me because I was getting a lot of server too busy errors and couldn't even get back to the thread after for a few minutes

I really want to use something from the avatar generator as my avatar. Can anyone tell me exactly how I go about it? I already tried saving it, then hosting it on imageshack. It isn't working.
