isn't that the zelda that was coming to the gc tho- maybe i'm just confused, but are they saying that it's coming to the revolution and not the gc

(that would **** me off... because, honestly, i wasn't planning on getting a Revolution. i've got to cut down on the amount of consoles i have and the costs they incur.)

Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess is coming for the GameCube. Another Zelda title is in development for the Revolution also. No need to worry really, since Revolution is backward compatible...

im pretty sure its coming out for gc

Oh i cant resist.? a few years back before the Xbox was even a glint in Bill Gates' eye, someone approached the billionaire and asked him what he thought about console gaming.? He said "The future is not in console gaming or even in the living room, I predict consoles will die out and be buried by the PC in no less than 5 years"

talk about complete 18;);) errr should i say 360 :p:p

lol nor can i, this stupid who's biting who contest is just childish. its funny that people are complaing about microsoft is copying nintendo and vice versa when they are all just copying each other, thats the industry get over it. microsoft may have a better online solution but its a logical step so dont blame nintendo for taking its time in adopting an online service. if they had come out with it for the gamecube then this would be a moot point. be a fanboy of whatever u want to be one of, but if one got an idea from another company im sure the opposite happened. first company with first tier support for a wireless controller? nintendo so does that make microsoft and sony less of a company for doing it now? no but its the next progressive step and no one is putting them down for biting nintendo.

geesh people stop being so ridiculous with the who's better than who comments and enjoy the fact that all companies for the first time in a long time are coming out with their best offering within a calender year of each other.

making the console only 3x as powerful as the gamecube is just asking for watered down ports from ea and all those other companies.

And yeah, I dont like to read, so I missed the part about the games being downloadable. I have had enough books shoved into me for the past month.

Yippee. Super Mario is free. Great.

oh and look...turok 64 is available to download for only 9.99$

What a great deal :pinch:

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.

Nintendo knows its fighting a losing battle, the cheap shot at PSP proved how cocky they are, everythings about onling gaming thesedays xbox proved it and now Sony and Nintendo are trying to catch up with their half assed efforts.

585935140

Please, these days those type of cheapshots are normal. Wasn't it only last week that Sony & MS were trashing talking each other and making cheap shots like that  ...

Noone knows the specifications for the Revolution. Nintendo have not said it will be 2-3 times as powerfull. Don't belive in everything you read.

Yippie... Nintendo have only Mario /irony

Nintendo is truly milking Mario for all hes worth- i thought last year was bad, this is gunna be even better or even worse depedning on where you stand.  In the confrence they announced a Mario themed GOLF, BASEBALL, SOCCER, PARTY (7), and DANCING game! thats just crazyyy! But you know what , my own judgments aside, Im glad MArio is still around after all these years and strictly as a gamer I have to say... BRING IT ON! :)

585935393

Yeah - though this time I think it'll be for better......

- DDR: Mario Mix [Hey Hey, Better than no DDR on Nintendo Systems =)]

- Mario Baseball & Soccer [Given the fun factor with Mario Tennis, I think those two title will defintely be good]

- Mario Party 7......[hmmmm.....]

o0o...this is gonna be a hot year for Nintendo Gamecube - Killer 7, Geist and many more :D

nintendo waited on their online services until they knew they could do it right. wireless makes that possible.  nintendo is going online now, because they know they can do it right, now.

585935377

exactly, and i hate it when people do the mod praise but lets face it, with wires everywhere and broadband just starting to become above the 50% level, its now officially time for online consol gaming

regardless of what kind of fanboy you are I think most of us agree with the following fundamentals...

1. Nintendo created mass gaming for the home

2. Sony made gaming hip and mainstream

3. Microsoft made online home gaming on your couch cool and mainstream

Imagine if you had the best of all 3 worlds. Nintendo's Content running on a sony styled and built cell system in unison with a huge microsoft built network and online infastructure!

And it is called the Revolution, horray! All but the Cell part, that has yet to be determined.

here are some supposed "leaked" specs:

CPU: IBM G5 Custom x 4 2.5GHz cores, level 1 cache 128KB, a level 2 cache 512KB share

GPU: RN520 x 2core 16MB eDRAM, PC R520 AMR technology supports 720p and 10810i

Oh noes, we can't have that. It would put the Revolution on par with the PS3 and Xbox360. That would hurt some people's feelings.

Sounds believable, but I'll believe it when Nintendo tells me in person.

in person? Like to your face? :s

if it has 4 2.5 G5's doesn't that make it more powerfull than the xbox?

sounds sweeet.

How come Nintendo can fit it into a tiny thin and MS can't?

:p

585935668

That's the problem.... it would be difficult. But GC was also rather small compared to it's performance. Hopefully we'll know some specs within the end of the year.

K guys, if you think that a wireless vr headset is gonna be the addon, listen to the part of the stream where he talks ALL about the revolution. He hints it SOOOOO much. I'm like 100% convinced now.

"on screen displays"

"area's that have no direct bearing on gameplay"

"not what you will be playing, but how you will be playing"

"controller, console, tv and internet interact with each other forms the central difference in revolution design"

He also indicates that the technology used to be not suitable for everyone but they are making it so it is.

After he talks about this technology he THEN SAYS "and then the controllers will also be very very unique..."

Meaning it's not the controller. You nayers we'll be owned by this console.

You may be on to something... I'm checking out the show again now, so I can hear him say it himself :p

Wow! there are some passionate gamers in this thread. See that? "GAMERS" it's all about playing games, which are about having fun, not getting at each others throats with the age old who's is better than who's bollocks.

You know damn well that there are going to be "must have" games for each system, as there are today. So why not stop the bitching? take it all in, love it all, play games.

And for ****'s sake, will sombody take a look at the XBOX walls I made (link under sig). I know there crap, but a comment or two wouldn't go a miss.

He also mentions it's being developed seperately from the overall console design... and if those leaked specs have any bearing, 2X gfx card cores to render 2 scenes simultaneously from slightly different perspectives ;) ;)

i watched the video and i don't know if i like the overall revolution concept or not. :(

heres my problem with it.

i have this huge collection of NES games. I like to keep playing them. but i would not like to re-buy these titles.

this summer i spent $150 at EB Games buying N64 accessories and games. I enjoy the N64 very much so.

now.. i just spent that much on N64 equipment and have so huge of a collection. They just expect me to cough up the cash to buy their games online. I'm sorry but that is innapropriate.

What I believe they should do is have a promotion where we can mail in our N64/NES games and they will add all these great titles to a Nintendo online account. We log in via Revolution Live and we can start playing our NES / N64 games.

I do not want to re-buy all my great titles. I do not want to keep all my old systems (they take too much room). But this idea confuses me.

    • Microsoft brings Planner Agent to all Microsoft 365 Copilot users by Ivan Jenic Image: Microsoft Microsoft has announced that Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot is now generally available to all users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Planner Agent is the latest addition in the string of AI features that Microsoft is implementing across virtually all of its products. The agent lets you manage tasks through natural language prompts directly inside Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can create and update tasks, check priorities, and get insights about current entries without leaving the chat interface. The general availability release comes with a handful of new additions on top of what was available during the initial rollout. A new plan picker lets you search and filter your plans by name, then update task names, statuses, due dates, or priorities through the agent. There's also a goals bucket now, which lets you group tasks under specific goals. This builds on the Goals view, a feature that was introduced as part of the broader Planner refresh that rolled out earlier. Image: Microsoft | Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot All AI-generated plans and tasks are created in draft mode by default, so you can review and approve changes before anything goes through. This is actually a thoughtful safety feature, because trusting AI to handle all your tasks without a human in the loop is usually a recipe for disaster. Having tasks initially saved as drafts is the best possible middle ground. Microsoft also says that not all tasks are executed equally. Simple tasks get processed quickly, while more complex ones, like building a plan from a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file, are handed to a more capable model. Microsoft says this approach delivers the best performance, but it could also help with usage management, as you won't have to waste tokens on performing simple tasks. Planner Agent is available now across Teams, Loop, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 apps for anyone on a Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription.
    • To be clear I'm anti trump, the bigger point is why review this game at all?
    • Trillion dollar Microsoft has to reduce spending by hurting more people. Good job Microsoft. Good Job Asha.
