It's a Firefox issue. If you test any theme you will see the same thing.

The "button" doesn't even exist in KoL's theme.

nice answer em3!

anyways...seeing that youll just update le3 later, you think it'll come with a solid progress bar like le4? ohh that would give me an orgasm! haha jp! anyways to help with the improvements of le3, here's a lil bug you can work on:

bug5ab.jpg

red: one extra pixel space

green: the extra pixel space that got pushed off by the red one...

basically the hover is moved one pixel to the right...

I still have some stuff left to do.

* Captionbars (almost ready)

* Checkboxes

* Radiobuttons

* Tabs

* Startbutton

* Black version

When all of above is done there will be beta testing for selected people for a few days.

This theme was inspired by Longhorn 5203 so it will look a lot like it, and a mix with Luna.

WHOOOOOOAAA :woot:

I made an atemt to recreate and match those cool caption buttons in Longhorn with LE4. What do you guys think?  :yes: or :no:

Btw. To the left is the black version. :D

If it were two separate themes (one regular caption buttons, the other Vista-esque buttons), that would be cool :) They do look pretty nice, though.

Edit: I agree with lithium-, those would look great with a thinner/compact bar.

Hmm.. I have mixed reactions to that. I've never been much of fan of those Longhorn buttons but those look pretty good. Never-the-less, I'd say to stay with the normal ones.

that's it, I'd really like to be able to choose between them.

however, I do not agree with it being thin, because I hate thin taskbars ^^

luckly, I know that em3 enjoys thick taskbars also, so I'm sure he'll release them thick :)

yeah thick all the way...i run on real high res...i'd really like to find my task bar, as for the buttons: if they were meant to simulate Vista, well by all means simulate it! yet, they do look like it'll be cumbersome to locate and press, thus lowering the usability of the theme. do whatever feels best. you have my trust :D

Yeah, I'd like to just click up there. I know where the 3 buttons are so I don't have to move my eyes. However, with the thin ones, I'd have to look up and off the main screen area. Also, with the smaller buttons, it will reduce usability. It would be form over function.

    • They want Ring 0 access. Should be a hard no. A middle ground needs to be found.
