i, unfortunately, have a dying-to-be-replaced Motorola C-331 which sucks enormous amounts of arse.....

i'm going with nokia, next time... i'm probably never ever buying a motorola again,...

You know there are 2 different versions of the Phone OS, the one you tested is for SmartPhones with very limited interface, the other is real PDA version and is the one I was refering to as superior to the P900. Plust there is ofcourse soon to be released Windows Mobile 5 and that's a big change in the right direction. There is not even font smooting or anything similar to ClearType on the Pxxx UIQ phones and the only way to get it usable as a PIM is to purchase programs like HandyDay that are made to mimic the Windows Mobile today screen.

Actually, Opera 6.3 for UIQ features font smoothing, though it's not exactly something that I look for in a phone.
