Mirror ? Please.

sorry, i don't have any mirrors for them. if you can't use megaupload.com for whatever reason, pm me your email address (KenanBalamir, i've probably had it before but i've probably lost it), and the list of the ones you want, and i'll email them to you.

well, can be my mistake, but seems that md5 for some translation packs are wrong. the one set for AutoPatcher Extras Addon - July 2007 works for AutoPatcher XP MCE2007 Addon July2007 TransPack.exe . the one set for AutoPatcher XP MCE2007 Addon - July 2007 works for AutoPatcher WinXP x86 July2007 TransPack.exe. i didn't check all, but seems that there's some problem, if someone wanna check that

you mean the changelogs? i will start posting them but i figured that if this is the first 5.6 release your translating, due to the large number of changes your probably essentially going to be starting from scratch so theres no point...

if you like though, i did keep some basic logs of modules added and removed, so i could post that info if you need it...

Marcin.Riki, i don't know you, but i did this:

- get a list of the last and the previews autopatcher release and copy it;

- paste it in a table, like excel or openoffice calc (in my case, broffice calc);

- math that list side by side (like in this image)

if something is missing on that list, it was probably removed. according to that, from last month to this one, was removed at critical:

KB886903

KB922481 (aka KB917283)

KB922770

added at critical:

KB939373: Security Update for Windows XP

Root Certificate Update (1st Jul 2007)

KB928365: Security Update for .NET Framework 2.0

KB928366: Security Update for .NET Framework 1.1 SP1

at recommended, nothing appears be removed, just added:

KB923845

KB932716

KB933062

KB933811

KB936357

of course, is a nice thing check the green ones, that may be replaced by a new version and the kb remains the same. that table is very easy to do. if you wish, i can export it to other format or leave it in .ods

update: added two to xp may remove list

hi. i was matching the latest translation packs with my release to be sure that i wasn't missing nothing, then i realize that i have 3 updates that aren't included in that translation packs:

KB890046 -> was present in June 2006

KB924496 -> was present in February 2007

KB934238 -> released by windows update for non-english versions of Windows XP

so, the first 2 just become obsolete and was removed? KB934238 already becomes obsolete or just not included? last time that i checked, if you don't install that, automatic updates was doing it for you. this is still true?

i've notice that KB894395, KB896344, KB912461, KB923800 and KB927544 doesn't install due language issues in here. i'm not sure if the same happends in other languages, but...

thanks in advance

KB934238 -> released by windows update for non-english versions of Windows XP

Article ID:934238 Last Review:May 29, 2007 Revision:2.0

Consider the following scenario:

?You install non-English versions of either of the following operating systems:

?Microsoft Windows XP

?Microsoft Windows Server 2003

?You install and configure a Unidrv-based printer.

?You install the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0.

In this scenario, some text in the print dialog box may appear in English.

So the problem is not big... and there is no download linked to this KB. Automatic update seems to be the only delivery way... (any previous case of that ?)

Conversely, applying this update may lead to some troubles : see this discussioRequiescat in pacezec-->

> Automatic update seems to be the only delivery way... (any previous case of that ?)

yes. KB892130, rootsupdate and a few more. but the point isn't troubles that this update may do. the point is "fully update an windows xp in offline mode", like ap is intended to do

despide of that, long time ago i buy a single licence of musicmath jukebox 7.5, without that option "update for life". after install ms IE7, that software doesn't work anymore. the same issue happends with a lot of updates. some software doesn't work anymore, you need update them and so is the life. same issue with this kb

i've notice that KB894395, KB896344, KB912461, KB923800 and KB927544 doesn't install due language issues in here.

You probably should add KB924732 to this list :whistle:

i'm not sure if the same happends in other languages, but...

You can be sure. Obviously some bugs are more dangerous in english :D

  • 2 weeks later...

theblazingangel, if i may suggest, http://www.4shared.com is free, can hold until 1Gb, no download limits or queues, you can create a short link for free and it works also with ISPs that share the same ip with several users. the only one issue: in order to not loose your files, you must login at least once 1 time in a month. but that isn't really a problem

    • Here is the new Surface Laptop Ultra wallpaper in high resolution by Taras Buria Earlier this week, Microsoft announced the Surface Laptop Ultra, its brand-new high-end laptop powered by NVIDIA's brand-new RTX Spark processor. As usual, Microsoft gives each new device a unique wallpaper, and the Surface Laptop Ultra is no exception. While the device is not publicly available yet, somebody has already extracted its wallpaper, giving everyone a chance to get a piece of the upcoming laptop in its full-resolution glory. The Surface Laptop Ultra has a very dark, abstract wallpaper that resembles the stock wallpapers in Windows Server, albeit with much less color. Having this dark, grim wallpaper highlights the laptop's mini-LED display and its ability to cut off parts of the screen's backlight to achieve OLED-like black levels. However, if you also like light wallpapers, we made a white version by simply inverting its colors. You can download both wallpapers below (click the image, right-click it, and select "Save as"): The Surface Laptop Ultra is expected to launch later this year. Microsoft is not revealing full details yet, including the price. However, Microsoft confirmed up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and RTX 5070-level of GPU performance. The heart of the laptop has up to 20 CPU cores and 6,144 GPU cores. Additionally, Microsoft and NVIDIA boast high CPU efficiency for all-day battery life. As for the display, it is a 15-inch mini-LED display with a pixel density of 262 ppi and a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits. Of course, not everyone needs this amount of power, and certainly not everyone can afford it. For those who need a more affordable device, Microsoft is also preparing the next-generation Surface Pro powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. Weeks ahead of the announcement, details about this computer were leaked by a retailer. Do you like the Surface Laptop Ultra's stock wallpaper? Share your thoughts in the comments. • From all that I've read on the subject--not that much, really--it looks to me like companies and parents are trying to protect themselves from children using their parents accounts to run up giant bills, sometimes in the thousands of dollars, and the first the parents know about it is when they get sued... Internet companies have been sued for tailoring their ads to children, which is kind of old news. My belief is that policing starts at home with the parents, and the reason that so many laws that can't be enforced are being passed is because parents are eschewing their responsibilities, claiming not enough time, not enough knowledge, etc. Giving kids cell phones sans Internet connectivity is a good place to start--confine Internet activity to PCs in the home that the parents regulate. My kids are all grown and gone, I'm happy to say... They have their own kids to worry about.

    • BTW DXVK is also available on Windows and offers similar benefits like on Linux when it comes to performance, at least in some titles. The Raceroom racing sim for example even offers DXVK as one of its officially supported options and it can achieve ridiculous improvements in certain situations, like quite literally doubling (or more) the framerates
