I don't agree - all that was said was definition of fanboy - support whatever platform they have to the detriment of all other options.

People should buy the console that has the best specification together with the best line up of games.? I haven't followed much of the console was but from what I've read the X-box spec is more well known n and has a line up of games.? This is compared to a PS which is not yet finalised and fewer games announced.

I could however have interpreted his comments incorrectly:p :p

and before anyone says say - No - i'm not a fanboy - I don't even own a console and never have

He offered no counter argument, everything he said basically bashed the Playstation. You cannot make a statement like "the stats are NOT final, and as of right now, xbox 360 appears to be the better performer" and still make sense. If the specs are not final and we haven't seen anything about either system other then what they showed us at E3 then no one can truly determine which system is faster, if indeed either of them are. From the pure "facts" provided by each maker it seems the PS3 actually might be faster and more capable. But of course no one will know until both systems are out and available.

His statement was bashing Sony fanboys while being a XBox fanboy in the same statement. Reread it, it's in there. And secondly it's way too early to tell which console is going to be better for some people. Spec wise they are going to be about the same, your really not going to be able to tell a difference. It's not really about specs anyway, it's about the games. The reason why Sony's is less clear is because it's further off, which makes sense in that they have less developed specs and games so that argument is kinda silly.
