Jon
I've been complaining about this issue for MONTHS. If you look back through the winxp noticeboard, you'll see i pointed it out ages ago. Its a pain in the ass, hence i know use NAV at home (work is fine, we use outlook via an exchange infrastructure) Jon
womble68
NAI are currently developing a Service Pack for v4.5.1 Multiplatform of McAfee's. They do know about the problems with the disappearing e-mails and appear to be trying to fix the problems in order to have the program work properly under XP. The site also lists a number of problems that the Service Pack fixes as well. However its still in beta at the minute. For me I'd like them to sort out 2 really annoying glitches 1) you can't connect to Novell based servers to download updates, and 2) the Scheduler Consoles tick box for "Show in Systemtray" doesn't untick (or rather the setting doesn't stick)! Jon
This I know. I also know it breaks the disclosure agreement to admit that you know there is a beta :paranoid: ;)
