I think the caption buttons need some serious work, not sure exactly what to do with them but their current state makes me want to throw up...? Other than that the VS looks fantastic!? Good work.

To the fellow with the rounded task buttons idea, i considered that initially and went with rectangles not just there (taskbar) but in other areas as i dont see why rectangular and rounded elements cannot co-exist in the same body of work, i think its a good balance. Feel free to mod it for your own personal use though.

Heres another wallpaper i will be including in the final release , like this and also in a slimmed down \ smaller version.

Btw folks, when i came up with the term "VXP a new classic" i envisioned not so much a Classic (win98) mod but more Classic in the "enduring" sense.

Hope to have this done real soon, i take time in my work as i hope to acheive perfection or as close to is as i can attain within my own capabilities.

As i mentioned in my previous post , yes i will be making smaller version of the wall but at 1280 the start menu does not overlap the bottle.

The indented drop downs look a little weird. Everything else is sitting on top of the window but then the drop downs are inset.

Variety seems like an excuse more than anything. In all honesty, that's probably one piece you want to have some sort of bevel on. It just seems to stand out more than it should and breaks the flow of the rest of the graphics.

Sorry, very little pixel area to work with there, its either flat or inset and as several other areas of the theme are inset and i personally prefer it, its shall stay that way.
