32bit, x64 and Itanium at the same time. :woot:

I also have the option to apply for clients and servers, dunno if everybody else got the same survey as I did.

as for people who asked for the media on DVD AFAIK you probably don't an option to download from Connect because you clearly stated on the survey that you rather have the media mailed to you. :pinch:  :shifty:

It has not been released yet. MSDN subscribers have keys, or so they say, but there is no image yet. Yes, there will be a 32-bit and 64-bit version (but I do not know when the 64-bit will be up) Be careful with the 64-bit versions as I beleive the device drivers will have the same issues as with XP Pro x64. Becoming a beta tester? I started with small things and over time improved my abillities and learned. My speciality was always with the end user. I've done WMPlayer 9, Office XP, Office 2003, XP Pro, Baseline Security 2.0, MSN (multiple), and a few other little things here and there. I am currently begging for the Office 12 64-bit Beta. They keep a record of their testes to make sure they are not just on the program. You have to be an active participant throughout a project to be invited back. Of course, you can always apply to be a tester at the beta site. It even says on the front what name to enter. As for the size, MS has gone to DVD disks only so I would imagine that it is over 700MB at least. Anyway, as of 8:00 CST there is no beta out yet. Stay calm, too much coffee will drive you nuts. Tea though, thats the good stuff.

Microsoft Beta products are always released around the same time during the day. Now (6am PST) is very OBVIOUSLY not the time. If they are releasing today, it will be between 12 and 6pm PST.

I think it's already been released. We (PRO) got a source that says it has been for sure.

actually, it sounds they dont want me:

Status Program Application Date Details Next Action

Pending Windows code name "Longhorn" Beta Program 7/18/2005 Details Decline Participation

Whats up with that..i can click on the decline but i dont want to

Why are they releasing a server processor version of a desktop OS? I can understand Windows Server 2007 being made for the Itanium, but not Windows Vista

They are releasing Longhorn Server today also.....

And I heard between 3 and 4pm PST today....so don't be too upset it isn't available right at 3

    • ASUS ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE keyboard is 27% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The ASUS ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE is currently $159.99 on Amazon, down from $219.99. That's 27% off and $60 saved on a keyboard that combines retro and modern design, while being one of the most responsive and adaptable 75% boards available right now (purchase link down below). The ROG Falchion Ace comes with the HFX V2X magnetic switches that allow you to set actuation anywhere between 0.1mm and 3.5mm with 0.01mm fine-tuning steps. It also comes with Rapid Trigger, a feature that resets the key the moment you release it rather than waiting for a fixed reset point, which makes a noticeable difference in fast-paced games. And finally, an 8,000Hz polling rate should make the response time feel instant. The build quality is decent, with dense plastic and powder-coated aluminum, which is expected from a keyboard at this price point. There’s also the onboard adjustment wheel, which lets you tweak actuation and Rapid Trigger sensitivity without opening any software. For competitive gaming, the ROG Falchion Ace is hard to beat at this price. And those who appreciate old-school hardware, especially those white keyboards we’ve all grown up with, will likely also appreciate the looks of this keyboard. A carry case is included.
