ISO size is 2478.3 MB DVD. Title is en_longhorn_beta1_dvd.iso.

Hmm... that should take 40 minutes or so, not too bad!

I bet they'll more than likely cram the maximum 4.7GB onto the final DVD though. :p

Someone said its all the debugging tools.

B2 should be slimmer.

?

Beta 2 also needs debugging.

I doubt that's what represents the bulk of the size.

I think it's mostly Avalon + Indigo SDK's and drivers increasing the size.

I will be installing it tonight at home, still got 2 hours on the DL.

Tomorrow morning I'll be installing the x64 version, curious to see if that has more drivers then XP x64. Cant find drivers for my printer, PALM, scanner, anything.

Ok here is what I can say about Microsoft Windows Vista.

* Microsoft Windows Vista Beta 1's UI will not be as good was what you people will be expecting and its the fact its not completed yet.

* Beta2 which will be released in late november 2005 will be the best Build and worth downloading which has complete almost 95% of OS build. May be most of us can wait for beta 2 and incase someone feels beta 1 s worth downloading, please do inform me ! :D

Thanks,

Dreamchaser
