mujjuman
lol, yeah they should have a Lite version of the Ultimate edition. then that would be the starter edition without the 3 apps limit.

Powerless
Two days before the start of Professional Developers Conference (PDC) 2005, I received exclusive insider information about the product editions, or SKUs, which Microsoft intends to create for Windows Vista (codenamed Longhorn). While the exact breakdown of the Windows Vista editions had been the subject of much speculation, this list closely matches the editions list I first published on the SuperSite for Windows last year. Here's how the Windows Vista product editions break down, according to the latest internal Microsoft documentation. http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/winvista_editions.asp

Homer
Sorry but I think this is one of the most rediculous things ever done by Microsoft, why couldn't they keep it like it is with XP, Home and Pro. Simple, easy to tell the difference between... why not with Vista? They market this under "Bringing clarity to your world" like hell is this bringing clarity to my world, and if it isn't bringing clarity to mine then it sure as hell isn't going to bring clarity to the average home user, thats for sure.
