Will the soil be firm enough to support such a structure? also since it appears to be near the ocean i think that being so close is a very bad idea.

It looks awesome. For some reason, I read "Abu Dhabi" and thought of Dubai instead, since Dubai has some sleek-looking hotels...

Anyway, if the hotel project does continue, I cannot wait to see the actual images.

Why not. If soil can support 800 meters high buildings why can't it support this? It doesn't look that high, I would say 300-500 meters max.

And there is no ocean in Abu Dhabi.. This is the Gulf.
