kaelsmith Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 I have a really wierd thought and alot of the critics seems to be displeased because it really takes away teh "special" part of life or somthing. I started to think Human have a Operating system just like computers. WHy because we are programmed to feel pain and stuff like that under certain circumstances. Im starting to believe that there is a basic OS and then we use the learning program to add new programs to it. So if a baby is born and raised in a favorable condition chances are they will grow up to be favorable adults. But if not they might grow up to be punks. The basic OS grows by learning and we never learn the same so we have different personalities but if we can figure out what action leads to what but maybe we can. For instance if u interact with babies and a young age they develop thier brain faster, If u scold a child they will learn consequences and ethics but if not they will keep going. So if we can find how the OS works we might be able to make a copy of the Human OS and make a perfect AI. or not. we do work like computers, we use electric signals to make us move, 1 or 0. so maybe god was a great PC programmer.. There's a fair amount in there about speaking in tongues - it theorises that Speaking in tongues is like a Mother Language which every human subconsciously knows and understands - it's just how to crack into that part of your brain which has proven to be tricky. I've read tons of literature on this very subject, and the general agreement is that reverse engineering and copying human brain into a computer is not only possible but will happen before the next century. And you don't need a body for the brain to function. A body is just a medium for your sensory and motor functions. It can easily be replaced by a different form of medium. In cases of seeming brain damage, retardation, the spirit could heal such limitations -- if it so chose to. The 'operating system' is planned out before birth and not exactly the same for each individual. And computers are a dim reflection of Inner reality. Most technology is. There are many types of Intelligence, many forms of Logic. Artificial Intelligence allows humans to explore alternate patterns.
