okay, all the texts we've been given for school wont tell me this, and i wouldnt have a clue about the electron shell arrangement of the transition elements. all i need to know is the charge of a Chromium III ion. that simple.

thanks in advance, whichever whiz ends up answering this.

ions are something you just have to memorize

it is +3 but not all III ions are going to be +3 charges

:pinch: omg i cant believe i missed that it was III so it had to be +/- 3
