Does anyone else have a gigantic status bar at the bottom?

Both betas and now this release candidate are like that.

I guess i'll just have to go back to using 1.0.7 again...

I've seen that error before, but might know it, when I want remember where, I can't remember

If I think of it, I'll post it... I know it is here at Neowin that I've seen it. Might want to try and search in the Firefox forum ;)

That normally comes up if you're using an extension that modifies menu's in someway. I remember when I tried installing an old version of compact menu and I had that at the bottom of the screen.

Have you tried running firefox in safe mode so no extensions are loaded? If not I would try it and if everything works you know the problem is an extension and not the browser.

Thanks! I'm not sure which extension it was. They were all disabled because they weren't compatible.. So I just uninstalled all of them. That status bar is gone now though!

Ugh, the menus look awful, I'm using windows classic, now the menus look like they are from quicktime or some crap. Makes the application feel strange.

Download Classic Menus for Winstripe 2.2, that will fix the problem and make it look normal
