I think I will install RC 1 by today... I want to know some things:

1. will my older extensions/theme made to work in this new one?

2. Anyone knows abt Mr. Tech Local installation extension and how to make older versions work with this. We can't install night testers with this extension already installed.

3. I am using 1.0.7 now.., so is it better than this or shall I wait for RC2/RC final or 1.5 final?

Do I miss much in this new version?

Thanks in advance, for the support :)

1. Many extensions are already updated. Firefox will check to see if they are and should automatically download the new versions. If they aren't, the extensions will be disabled until new versions are released.

2. Not sure about this.

3. Way better then 1.0.7. I notice a faster rendering pages and it definitely seems more stable. There isn't any kick-butt new features, this is more of a polishing release that is very nice in my opinion.

RC1 in my opinion could be a final release, it is that solid/stable.

Does anyone else have a gigantic status bar at the bottom?

Both betas and now this release candidate are like that.

I guess i'll just have to go back to using 1.0.7 again...
