Haha, and wouldn't you know... just as I posted that my server goes down!! :angry: Small hiccup apparently. The main pages are still down but the mirrors folder seems to be working on and off. They'll get it fixed in the next little bit.

Agreed, I have the full October release, and was hoping for:

Oct (Full) -> Nov (Full) Update

Any plans on update patches to save your bandwidth and easier/quicker to download/install?

This software has changed how I update my systems from scratch.

From

- Install Windows

- Run WindowsUpdate.com <-- few dozen updates :(

- Install SP2

- Run WindowsUpdate.com <-- another few dozen updates :'(

To

- Install Windows

- Install SP2

- Install AutoPatcher Full

- Run WindowsUpdate.com <-- nice and empty :)

Why not slipstream sp2 into your copy of winxp?

search for "slipstream", you'll find instructions.

you may even simply use the ap team's own tool - autostream(?) :)

Hi every one...

first of all thx for the great job u r doing here...It i really wonderfull

2nd plz forgive my english writting, coz I'm not perfect in it. So if u found sth wrong just pass it...

Any way, this is the first time i use AutoPatcher, But when i installed it (full version) the langage bar was disappear, And when i try to show it from the text service and input languages it works but do not show on the taskbar,when i try to minimize it, It disappears againe...

and about the shut down pop-up...it became like the 2000 version, and when i log in to windows (I have one account on the PC and dont have a password on it) i find a pop-up msg to enter password and i jst put the username and log in...so it is useless.

So i would like to make it log in to the accont straightly...

I hope u understand the problems...

Run the tweakundo tool un \tools, you'll see undo_disablewelcomescreen and undo_removelanguagebar - select these and press "Undo selected" :)

OK HAVE A PROBLEM XP SP2 TRIED NOV DOWNLOADED TWICE 2 DIFFERENT SITES THEN TRIED OCT STILL SAME INSTALLS BUT WONT START .

      You can't, if you didn't notice, it doesn't support surround at all, it's right in the spec list.

      Hi — I’m always interested in soundcards. Like displays, I just want to know I’m getting as much clean “sonic juice” into my brain as possible as the years take their toll. I’m not entirely sure what to take away from this review, though. It doesn’t really tell me whether the AE‑X is a good product or who it’s actually for. Most of what I’m getting is: there’s a driver to install, here’s what it looks like, and here’s what’s in the box. There’s a lot of emphasis on the SPDIF input. When you mention not needing to switch headphones between console and PC — does that mean the PC has to be powered on just to pass audio through? That seems like a fairly big waste of energy. Is this more something a streamer would use alongside a capture card? How are you testing the sound? (Also, you might want to clarify that you’re using the headphones in wired mode when you mention they’re wireless.) You mention the lack of EMI shielding — how much real‑world difference does that make compared with typical motherboard audio? On multi‑channel: what exactly isn’t supported? Does this mean Windows spatial audio (Dolby Atmos for Headphones, DTS Headphone:X, etc.) won’t work, or just that the card itself doesn’t decode surround formats? And are there any true multi‑driver “surround” headphones left that would even use that? You also highlight support for high‑impedance headphones — but what does that translate to in practice? How does it compare to driving the same headphones from a normal device, and does it make any difference for everyday, lower‑impedance models? In short, who is this card actually targeted at?
