I just came from CES and the Microsoft Vista rep says that the current Anti-spyware program will be re-named Windows Defender when Vista comes out (later this year?). Defender will bundle the firewall & anti-spyware programs along with other features.

No say on price if you stay w/XP and do not buy Vista.

Also Media Player 11 is due with Vista as well as "Windows Mail" - the Outlook Express replacement - though Windows Mail looked very much like OE.

There is supposedly a Sign up for Vista Beta but I have not found it yet.

OH, and IE7 has features very similar to Firefox and with Vista It looked like I saw some (Apple) Mac features- eg: multiple folders showing up at an angle rather than over each other- if that makes sense to you.

Also, does someone know if there is a problem with my updates? When I try to download new ones, I get that I have the latest defs, where it says me that they are old...
