Herby Share Posted December 19, 2005 3DMark Cow History: ? In 2001 you can enable an easteregg where you can drive around and shoot down flying cows: Open the Edit Projekt dialog and inserHoly Cow!b> as Project Name, this will unlock the Game Demo button. ? In 03 there are some cows at the end of the first part of the demo. ? In 05 you can enable an easteregg that replaces some of the the Arolphins (flying dolphins) with Cowlfins (flying cows) at the end of the Demo (credits screen): Start 3DMark05 with the commandline para-lehm?m? and run th"C:\Program Files\Futuremark\3DMark05\3DMark05.exe" -lehm?ehm? I was playing with Mr.Ripper (Plugin for FAR manager) and saw that the new addon supports the dat files from 3DMark03, PCMark04 & 3DMark05. I extracted credits.ogg from 3DMark05.dat (Poets Of The Fall - Lift Me Higher) and stumbled upon cow.dds (see pic). Ha!.. another cow easteregg,.. I searched the Net and found .... nothing,.. so I opened 3DMark05.dat again and found demo_credits_fun.txt and demo_end_fun.evascene and this file has some references to the easteregg: Cowlfin, cow.dds and EasterEggCow. In short: I opened 3DMark05.exe with a hex editor and searched for demo_credits_fun.txt, in the same line I found:)lehm?. :)

Herby Author Share Posted December 20, 2005 Thank. But unfortunately I do not see cows (3DMark05Pro v.1.0.0) Launch the Demo and wait for the Credits (at the end), then wait for about 20 - 30 seconds and the flying cows will appear. :)
