Ok. I just got a Windows Live Mail invite, but I can't see the link. I know that if I can see the HTML source I will be able to see the link, but I don't know how to see it. I know this has been answered but I can't find the post again. So how to see it?

view the source of the page your on and search for the keyword...

If your not using hotmail then dont bother.

Just go to 'view' on the toolbar on Internet Explorer, then 'view source' then search for the words 'join now' and somewhere around that piece of text should be your link

or right click u're mouse inside IE and click on view source.

their links dont seem to work with browsers other that IE.

None of the above worked for me???? but managed to get it, so this's what I did (in IE) first opened the invitation, choose reply and viewed the source code of the reply window. In the source code you should search for "acceptinvitation" and copy everything starting from http:// (it's about three lines)

I've been given a false invite!

The one only sent me a copy of the message without link, because there is no such link in the mail.

Didn't think someone would get as low to get a Live Messenger Invite

Are you realy sure? Please, read the whole thread (and others related, there are a lot) before acusing somebody???? It's a common problem to have invitations with no visible link

So how do i get it? Because i can't open the source of the email with IE because hotmail isn't letting me! :s

I looked at the source and there is no such link.

So if you have another tip, please say it, it would help...

are you sure you followed all the steps? First choose to reply the invitation and view the source of the reply page. If you see the source of the invitation (without choosing reply) it won't appear.

btw, when i choose reply, the reply window (were you write) first has the html code of the invitation (if you print screen at that moment you'll notice the acceptinvitation lines I said earlier) and then formats it to what you actualy see

Ok, thanks, I found the way, I didn't see I had to reply...

And how is it possible? People never stop to complain it takes time to get in, when you enter the beta you are advertised that it should take up to 2 weeks, and I see my live mail inbox right now, 1 1/2 minute after getting in.
