NCAA football next year preditions

I think you are a week too soon with your topic :p

Let's wait until after January 15th to make predictions - last day to declare for the draft. We will have a better idea then :D

UT with Vince Young has to be a favorite, but w/o him.... not so great.... if only Ryan Perilloux would have went to UT..... HAHA I am glad he chose to stay in state and go to LSU, from what I hear he has been outstanding in practice. I have heard he has a better arm than Jamarcus Russel, is that possible? :woot:

Espn is reporting that Vince Young is declaring for the draft. It was just reported on ESPNnews. Good luck in the draft Vince Young.

:woot: Texans have a big decision to make. Do you take the home town boy over Reggie Bush? Trade or keep David Carr?

I would trade and get 3-4 good players. Bush's performance against Texas showed how he will most likely struggle in the NFL with those fast defensive linemen and backs. Plus, they just picked up an option on David Carr so Young is not an option for the Texans.

I think Young is still an option, they are not paying David that much.

Are you kidding? They just picked up an $8 million option on David Carr. He is definitely their franchise QB and they will not draft another QB, I can guarantee that.

Reggie Bush

well in the rose bowl did show much, all year long reggie bush played against fast Ds, the Pac 10 Ds are fast not good just fast. it was more that texas D was big and fast and when it was a run play the LE got win easy and fast, also the LB were fast to the out side. but i think L white will make a better NFL RB because his size.

The Fightin Illini will come from left field and win it allllll!

 Have fun with the Zooker.

UF should end in the top 10, and will be NC by the following season. I expect the top 10 finish this year, with maybe 1-2 losses overall. SEC champions, and a BCS bowl game.

Also expect a full house for the spring Orange and Blue game in Gainesville. It could be the largest spring practice crowd ever. Last year had an amazing turn out, and with Tebow starting classes now, he will be a sight to see.

As a big Texas fan, I honestly dont think we are completely dead in the water next season without Vince Young. All of our RB's and WR's are returning, most of the offensive line, but we loose a few defensive starters (2 in the secondary) and David Thomas (TE).

As long as we can find a QB that wont make many mistakes, we will be just fine. The problem is, the only scholarship QB is Colt McCoy - who redshirted last year. I know for a fact that we recruited this kid, last name Snead, who was a highly touted player. Seeing as how those are our two viable options right now, the position will be between those two guys.

works for me, minus the notre dame one simply because i hate them and I think they got exposed in the bowl game. I dont really care that much since I think its easier to start at like 5-10 spot and work your way up then having to deal with staying on top with all the pressure.

I don't know how you have Notre Dame as #2 since they got whooped up on by Ohio State. Ohio State should still be really good next year, too. WVU should be ahead of LSU by bowl finishes (WVU beat UGA, the SEC champion that beat up on LSU). But LSU is definately a top 5 team.

    • My wish list is: A trailer for Final Fantasy VII part 3 and a proper look at Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Not happening, but I'd kill for would be another game of any genre in the Frostpunk world and another game in the Detroit: Become Human world.
    • I tried Wino-Mail and had the same issue with it that I have with New Outlook: My two centurylink.net email accounts (one of which is my primary email account) refuse to work with either one, and sometimes refuse to even log in, even though ALL the relevant information is accurate. Thunderbird does not have this problem, so I'll stick with what works, thank you.
    • For me it has everything feature wise that I want. But boy the app sucks big time. This and Teams. Ever since they made the transition to WebView it has been slow AF. I mostly use both apps in the browser now because of too much memory being used by these 2 apps. Hoping that native versions are being worked upon.
    • Nearly 70% of Steam users now run Windows 11 by Taras Buria The May 2026 Steam Hardware & Software Survey results are now available on the official Steam website, showing Windows 11's continuous growth among the gaming audience. As of early June 2026, nearly 70% of all participants reported having a Windows 11-powered PC, while Windows 10's market share is steadily declining. According to Valve, in May 2026, Windows 11 increased its market share to 69.76% (+2.02 points), while Windows 10 dropped to 23.99% (-1.64 points). 64-bit Windows 7 is still showing up in Valve's reports, and apparently, about 0.07% of all survey participants still use the 17-year-old operating system. Valve no longer updates its client for Windows 7, but it still can access the platform, so the Windows 7 holdouts can stay away from newer Windows versions. Overall, 93.85% of all users run Windows (+0.38 points), while Linux is second with 3.99% (-0.53 points). macOS is third with at 2.16% (+0.15 points). The most popular Linux flavor is Arch Linux (0.35%), while macOS 26.4.1 is currently the dominant macOS release. On the hardware side, the most popular picks include an Intel processor (53.94% against AMD's 46.06%) with six cores (28.02%, -0.6 points), 16 GB of memory (41.14%, -0.28 points), and an NVIDIA graphics card (72.42%, with AMD having 19.13% and Intel 8.05%). The most popular graphics card on Steam is the desktop NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (3.85%, -0.14 points), while the laptop RTX 4060 is second with 3.77%, and the RTX 3050 is third with 3.10%. The average amount of VRAM is 8GB (25.89%), and the dominant display resolution is the classic 1920x1080 pixels (51.89%, -0.32 points). As usual, you can find more details from the latest survey on the official website. The results for April 2026 are available here.
